Question about Wheels, Tires & Parts for Ferrari 430 Scuderia

2 Answers

Hello, Like to enquire if a set of Toyo Proxes R888 tires of size 305/30ZR19 (prescribed to fit rims of size 10.5"JJ onwards) can fit well onto my Scuderia's rear (rims of 10"J x 19") which currently uses a set of Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires of size 285/35ZR19 as the factory standard. I plan to take the car to a track event in the PRC in early April, and managed only to get myself a set of front Toyo tires of size 235/35ZR19, but not my preferred choice for the rear - ie, 295/30ZR19 due to shipment delay out of Japan after the horrific massive earthquake. What would be an acceptable alternative if the 305 were simply too big for my rims? Appreciate your prompt assistance since I need to make up my mind the soonest. Best regards, Robin

    Hi Joe,
Thanks for your quick response. Have just browed through the link you provided on PZero Trofeo tires, so is it correct to say these tires are even more track-ready than the PZero Corsa that I have currently on?

Tire size

Yes as long as u change the rims also not just the tires these numbers 195/60/15 195 is tire width 60 is tire height and 15 is rim size, most all Hondas will fit up to 215/35/18 with no rubbing issues on factory suspension ..... Every time the rim size changes u have change the height of the tire so it will fit some go as far as " stretching " the tire to allow larger rims or extreme offsets

What size rims will fit a 1990 Buick LeSabre? Right now I have 14" rims and the stock "wire wheel" covers.

Here's what you need to do. You need to get the tire size off of the tire on your vehicle. Lets say its P205/75R14 or something like that. Go to this link, type that size into the tire on the left, then you can change the tire on the right to whatever size you. You will be amazed what will fit on that vehicle. I wouldnt go over 20" rims if i were you. 22's will leave you very little tire and a very bad ride.

Here's some info on your bolt pattern and wheel offset.

1990 Buick LeSabre 5 lug 4.53 inch or 115 mm High Positive Offset

Heres the tire size calculator

Any question, comment back. If you are looking for 20" rims, 255/30/20 is a common tire that you can find reasonably cheap and lines up perfectly with most vehicles.

2007 Honda Pilot - spare tire - is it a full size tire? If not, can it be replaced with a full size tire?

Many saper tires are not full size and you can replace them with the same rim and tire set up that matches the rest. Please rate if this helps.

I'm looking to buy new tires for my volvo s90. Can you provide two recommendations?

Depending on the application (performance, snow, or touring), my three recommendations are:

Performance - Toyo Proxes. They are designed for the driver who wants better grip, acceleration, and handling from their vehicles.

Snow - Bridgestone Blizzak. This studless tread design can be used year-round in all states, and provides the best traction in even the worst winter conditions.

Touring - Cooper CS4 Touring. This all season touring tire provides the quietest ride for the lowest price available. All Cooper passenger tires also come with a 60,000 mile road hazard warranty.

Hope that helps!

80 le car I want to change the tires to cool looking ones What do you recomend? Any low profile or diferent looking tires out there? It has the 3 bolt wheels/rims Do I have to change the rims?

Toyo Proxes is a good line of tires. They offer a few tread designs that offer not only performance, but good looks as well. Ask your local tire dealer about them. Also, the Kumho Ecsta line offers looks and performance, as well as a lower price tag.

My 2001 grand cherokee rims are 17" what is the exact size, and what other rim would fit.

Hello, Thank you for trusting FixYa.com to help get you going! The rims on your Cherokee, (and any other vehicle) are measured based on the tire that is designed to fit it. Technically the rims is just shy of 17". They measurement is taken at the base of the lip at the tire seat, ( the place on the rim that the tire seals against.) There are many outlets with rims for sale from custom to OEM, available in almost every city in America. Depending on the look or function that you are seeking, prices range greatly. Good luck, and if you have additional information, questions, or comments please return, and I will respond quickly to your concerns. Thanks again for trusting FixYa.com, have a great day!.

i would not suggest it as the offset on the rear wheels is different because the s2000 is rear wheel drive.... the accord is not!! trying to take corners would not be fun or safe due to the different sizes
