I did not find an exact conversion chart for you unit, but here are some links to a few other conversion charts which should give you a pretty good idea of approximately what temperature you are setting on your machine:

Just use your mouse to click on the links, which are the 3 underlined and highlighted sections of text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the websites indicated.

If you really need an exact measurement of your oven temperature, you can always buy an oven thermometer that can be placed right in the oven, and that you can see through the glass window. They are not usually that expensive or hard to find.

Good luck, hope that helps a bit.

Temperature at 10 power level

It does not work that way. The microwave OVEN generates (electromagnetic) microwaves that are absorbed by the molecules of the food in the oven, the container and the air.
The absorption rate depends on the molecular composition. After enough microwave energy is absorbed the overall temperature increases and the food is warmed, heated or cooked. If your mixture is inhomogeneous some parts absorb more energy while other absorb less and you can have hot spots.

The power level by itself won't give you an indication of the temperature because you need to know the time that the power has been applied. In simple terms Energy =time*power. The temperature reached is somewhat proportional to the energy, that makes it dependent on the time and the power.

I don't know why my microwaves keep beeping and starts the Exhaust Fan automatically every 5 mins. The display says F-3. Please help me with the problem I'll appreciate.

F-3 is usually for the temperature sensor being faulty. What you need most likely is to replace the temperature sensor. This would explain why your microwave oven exhaust fan keeps going off, because your temperature sensor is telling it that it is overheating even though it isn't.

I have an oven which I believe is a Kenmore model # 911.93251590 that the printed temperature numbers have worn off around the dials. I was hoping to find a picture of the stove or a manual assuming it...

Get an oven temperature gauge and place it in the oven, turn on the oven with the dial set at a near mid position letting oven stabilize in temperature. Read the temperature and mark the dial. Repeat at select positions marking the dial with the new temp setting.

What the code f3 mean my stove model # is 911.9584991

This model ( Kenmore ) has been built by Roper ( 911 - First 3 digits tell you the manufacturer's name ).

F3 refers to Oven temperature sensor open.

You need to check the oven temperature sensor. The value of oven temperature sensor should be around 1100 ohms at room temperature. In case, it is too high or low, you need to replace that.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

The Oven getting lock after self cleaning is not uncommon.

That is caused by the high temperature reached on self cleaning, that can jam the control board or damage the door lock or the temperature probe.

Try first tripping circuit breaker or disconnecting power cord for five minutes.
After restarting try the oven.
If the oven still does not work, then hold down the cancel button for ten seconds.

If still no luck, then the oven is faulty in consequence of the extreme temperature reached in self cleaning.

If the Oven has regular display, then faulty part is usually the temperature probe.

If oven has no display, then the control board may had been damaged.

I can understand what problems a faulty oven can be in this moment.

Try first the reset, if that does not work, ring the number listed at the end of the owners manual to see if today any technician is available.

A local technician could easily put back the oven to work, replacing the probe, the point is that it will be difficult to find a technician right now.

Let me know if the reset works.

Preheat Freezes

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour. Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.

Otherwise, the temperature sensor / thermistor may have failed.

If you don't have the manual, you can download GE owner's manuals and installation instructions here.

Let us know if wee can help further.
