just try using https://www.facebook.com - the http's' is for secure, just try that or contact your Internet service provider they might have blocked facebook.
For some reason Internet Explorer doesnt work well with facebook i have
had the same problem. Download mozilla Firefox and everything will work
smoothly with facebook. Besides Firefox you get less viruses with it.
