Sometimes facebook is like that, maybe because of numerous account users. But try google chrome., maybe it'll work.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

IE8 unresponsive on facebook

Go to tools then "compatibility view". If you wish to add it to the list so that it always renders Facebook this way click compatibility view settings. Facebook is a progressive company and they have been phasing out support for older browsers. I assume you are on XP otherwise you would be up to IE9+. My suggestion would be to possibly move to Chrome, Firefox or Opera which do not have an operating system limitation.

Hello I get "done, but with errors on page" when trying to read messages in Facebook, then I get a blank page. I am also unable to click links in Facebook, not having same issue on other web sites. I have...

Switch to firefox, will solve that and a ton of other problems.

If that isnt an option, delete all your temp internet files/cache and then go back to facebook.

If that dosent fix it, Check your security settings in IE to make sure they arent blocking facebook.

You could also install proper Java, instead of the one Microsoft supplies. Get it from java.com.

Facebook - loads blank page?

Deleting my facebook cookies worked for me (Firefox 3.5.7)

Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> click the remove individual cookies link, type facebook in the search box, then remove all cookies that match. Then reload facebook, you'll be logged out but log in and should be fine

Take IE8 off and you will have IE7 automatically. (control panel, add / remove programs) I think they released IE8 a little bit too soon. There are still a lot of bugs in it.

The Right hand side of my Facebook page is cut

It could likely be caused by IE8 as it was just released and will still have a few bugs...we're just now rolling out IE7 at my job. Took us that long to make sure all of the bugs were worked out and we found all possible fixes to why it wouldn't work with some of the Web sites our employees use daily.

Did you have this problem before using IE8? If not, then you just solved your problem!

If you don't want to roll back to IE7 then download and install a different browser. Firefox is a really great option and I'm addicted to it. Google Chrome is great too. You should have at least one other browser installed anyway. That way, if one ever crashes (most likely one being Ineternet EXPLODER!) then at least you have a backup and can still access the Internet.

Either uninstall IE8 (which should automatically roll you back to IE7. Then go to facebook to log in and see if that fixed it.

Or, you can download Firefox (free) and install on your computer. Launch Firefox after installation completes and go to your facebook page. I can tell you know that you won't have the same problem unless something is wrong with your system.

Hope this fixes ya!
