Check the refresh rate on the PC card as well as the resolution to be sure it's compatible with the tv's specs.
also, there are different ways to connect to LCD TV's... HDMI/DVI - S Video, etc... try dffferent combinations to and from your pc to your tv.

How to change my display setting from 720p to 1080p

The resolution is dictated by the video source, if it is fed with 720p, you will get 720p res, feed it with 1080p will display 1080p, just like your PC monitor which is controlled by your PC video card resolution setting, not at the monitor.

My graphics card is xfx 8600 gts my card problem is when i start my pc the display logo of my m/b is crash color and red boxes on the screen then my pc restart when system reach windows. So please help me

Its a GPU problem.
It can be overcome by doing reflow technique.
You need to do following.
1. Uncover ur PC casing
2. Locate the nVIDIA PCI-E Card.
3. On the card, locate the power supply pin of GPU fan.
4. Remove the pin.
5. Switch on ur PC.
6. Still u may get scrambled display/wavy screen, but wait for 5 minutes.
7. Press reset button on ur PC.
8. Ur PC might work.
9. Switch it off.
10. Connect the power supply pin back as it is.
11. Power on ur PC.
thats all.

Removal of fan power, makes the GPU to get high heat, it a reflow technique.
Remember, not to touch the GPU portion (heat sink), as it may be in higher temperature.
Try this, it works most.

This monitor will only have a sharp image at a resolution of 1680 x 1050. Any lower setting will result in blurry images.

In an LCD the pixels are fixed, and using any resolution lower than the optimal will cause blurry images. This is called Image Scaling:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_scaling

If that resolution causes the icons to be too small, you can change the DPI setting to 120 from 96, that will make them larger
