There are catches on the plug that secure it from accidentally unplugging, some you squeeze and some have tabs in the side of the plug that need pressing to release the plug

LSC27925ST ice maker tray not level. How to fix?

If water is splashing out it is not the pressure if the ice maker is the twist tray type. The tray is distorted and needs to be fixed. remove the icemaker 1 screw and one connector, very carefully remove the sensor on the bottom of the tray, remove the tray and place it in hot water, so that you can twist the left front up a bit about 1/4 inch then put in cold water to retain the bend. Try a cycle this should cure the splashing out. issue.

MAKING ICE BUT WILL NOT DUMP ICE CUSTOMER HAS REPLACED ICEMAKER TWICE

Super easy fix. Pull out the Ice Maker. Two screws at the top, one ground screw at the bottom. remove plug. Once Ice Maker is out remove the white cover. Again two screws. Check to see if there is ice blocking the control arm. That has been the problem on most of these. Remove Ice, reinstall and enjoy the ice.

Error code if

IF is an error that states your icemaker fan is not running. You just need to order and replace the icemaker fan behind the back panel inside the freezer to fix the issue. Here is the part to order.
To replace the fan: Remove the freezer shelf. Remove the plastic guide for slides on left side by unscrewing phillips head screws. 2) Pull the grille forward and remove the grille. 3) Disconnect wire harness of the grille. 4) Remove the scroll assembly by loosening 2 screws. Replace the duct assembly.

Icemaker inlet tube frozen. No water to icemaker. drinking water dispensor works fine.

If the tube is located behind the icemaker and to the left in the freezer simply either take a blow dryer to it or if you can remove the fill tube manually i would. This happens because your valve is leaking back alittle and if it reoccurs you'll need to replace the valve. Just thaw the fill tube and you'll start working again.

Error code er ff.how do i fix this? freezer is still freezing but fridge is warm.

The error code appears when there is an abnormality of BLDC FAN Motor for Freezer. It circulates cold air from the freezer to the fridge to allow cooling. Check the motor wiring harness for poor connections. If the motor is not working at all, you need to replace it.
To remove the fan and motor assembly:
  1. Remove the freezer shelf. (If your refrigerator has an
    icemaker, remove the icemaker first).
  2. Remove the plastic guide for slides on left side by
    unscrewing phillips head screws.
  3. Remove the grille by removing one screw and pulling the
    grille forward.
  4. Remove the Fan Motor assembly by loosening 2 screws
    and disassembling the shroud.
  5. Pull out the fan and separate the Fan Motor and Bracket.
  6. Replace fan motor assembly in reverse order.

Ice tray overflow

Sorry for taking so long to answer.  The icemaker needs to be removed from it's mount to install the updated tray.  There should be only one screw on the front of the bracket supporting the icemaker.  Once the screw is removed, slide the entire icemaker assembly forward and drop it down.  This will expose the wire harness connection.  Disconnect the plug from the connector and take the icemaker out to work on it.  You need to remove the motor part of the icemaker from the bracket to replace the tray.  Carefully push the bracket up as you push the motor box down and slide foward to separate the two.  It looks impossible but it actually does come apart easily.  Once the box is separated, the tray can be replaced.  Reverse the process to assemble.  Good luck.

Ice maker quit - LG refrigerator model LFX25960ST, ice maker PN 5989JB0001A

I have the same problem.

Ice in the gears.

Splash from opening and closing the door when liquid water is present seems to be the logical problem.

I had cleared the ice before, thoroughly dried the icemaker and reinstalled it. It worked until I adjusted the icemaker to make large cubes.

I will reinstall it and see how long it last. I will also complain to Sear about the short life of this device.
