Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
It works for a while when it starts up, then suddenly stops working completely. Tried reinstalling drivers, no work. At random times, it would go back to norm, but symptoms resume when comp is restarted. Help/suggestions?
May be something spilled on keyboard or maybe loose cable under keyboard.
Some keyboards can be easily removed either with catches at front below space bar or sometimes screw on underside releases the keyboard. Others have a sliding plastic bar above keyboard which then removes to release keyboard.
Find keyboard ribbon cable and check it is in socket OK on mainboard. If not, gently prise up each end of the socket which will release the ribbon cable - push ribbon cable down into socket - press down socket edges to trap cable into socket again.
