Hello & Welcome to FixYa

This indicates an open/shorted oven temperature sensor and to solve this problem the temp.sensor needs replacement. If you want to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter for around 1100ohms....if it reads more then this then it needs replacement however, if the reading is around or less then 1100ohms then it is the control board that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

That it is mostly fault of magnetron tube inside Microwave. This is the component that produces the microwaves that heats the food. The cost of the magnatron is about 90% of the cost of a microwave oven. Most people don't, for this reason, replace the magnetron, they replace the whole oven. however, there is also a possibility that the circuit that provides power to the magnetron is faulty and you need to take it apart, find the proper electrical leads and test them with a volt meter. To do this you have to remove it from its mounting and take it apart. It is a fairly lengthy process requiring some bit of a skill though.

AEG micro-combi oven has big condensation problems. The glass on the oven door clouds over and drips of water can be seen on the glass. Water also drips out on both sides of the oven at times formin

Condensation inside the oven comes mainly when the temperature is below 100 Celsius, and this phenomenon is evident in almost all manufacturers. That means, the condensation starts at the beginning and at end of baking. My advice is the same as many manufacturers recommend: Before baking, preheat the oven to min. 100 Celsius and after that place the food in the oven. Reverse the procedure in the "cool down" phase before the temperature drops below 100 ° C and remove the food from the oven.
After that condensation should be drastically reduced.
Condensation could be technically solved but it would be too expensive for manufacturers (more parts inside oven) as well as for customers also (too expensive appliance and lost energy).

PS. This applies to the traditional way of baking

Replaced 20amp fuse that was blown. new fuse did not blow, but oven is still dead.

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
If your microwave oven doesn't seem to work at all, check these: Fuses Door switch Fuses Usually, when your microwave oven doesn't work it all, the internal fuse (thermal fuse) is blown. This fuse protects both you and the oven. When it blows, you need to have a qualified appliance repair technician replace it. Door switch If the fuse isn't the problem, check the door hooks and the door-release button. When these are broken, the door switch doesn't activate, so the oven can't work

The oven doesn't work, the timer works and the light comes on

This is a strong indicator the magnetron has failed "heats food" and is the heart of the system. If microwave oven is a few years old better to invest in new.

What is the temperature attained inside the microwave oven in a time span of 100seconds if the rating of the oven is 1200watt ?

The mass of the material you are heating affects the temperature achieved. ie. 2pints of liquid will reach a lower temperature than 1pint in 100 seconds.

Hi Christine - I also have one of these ovens and the same thing happened to me. The problem is that the loop of tape with the temperature scale which turns on a cog when you operate the temperature selector has snapped. It runs a bit like a 35mm film in a camera. If you can find someone who is handy he maybe able to 'splice' the tape back together and it should work for a while. I did this but after about a year it snapped again. I have been trying to source the tape itself but without much success. Feel free to email me on lancedavis@onetel.com and I will let you know if I can find a supplier. Kind regards, Mike
