This is most probably due to the bad signal if you are using a modem, the low quality of the signals makes it hard for images to load properly. If all other sites don't do the same then you may have to try and ping Facebook (open RUN on the STARTUP type: ping -t ) the reply should read (Reply from "ip address" bytes=32 time="numbers"ms TIL=242 ) something like that if it says Request timed out then it is a connection related fault and needs to increase your connection speed for better signal and image display.

|I cannot get into my facebook account it only goes to my granddaughters account on my computer. (She has used my computer.)

Just log her out using the 'account' link at the top right of the page, and log yourself in. Since the computer saves the cookies (or session) from when your granddaughter logged in, it is automatically using her profile.

Hi my facebook page is not loading for me to log in, yet all other websites are loading

Hi! My name is Mace and I'm here to help you.

If Facebook website is not loading, then there are some initial remedies to fix this problem.

1. Use Mozilla Firefox as your web browser. Facebook loads faster in this browser.
2. Install Adobe Flash Player, this will help also with the loadings, especially with requiring graphics display.
3. Clear Recent History in your internet browser...everything.
4. On your browser, click the TOOLS menu, then scroll down and select OPTION. Select PRIVACY Tab and click both the "clear all recent history" and "remove individual cookies" buttons.
5. Under the OPTION, select ADVANCED tab..Next to offline message, press the CLEAR NOW button.

Let me know if that solve your problem. Just post back if you still have some question.
Thank you for using Fixya.

Facebook doesn't respond

The Facebook web servers may be experiencing a heavy user load right now, so be patient! Wait a few minutes then try to log back in. I've had the same problems before.

Common Pages not loading properly all of a sudden

First, Spyware Doctor is not an antivirus. It is a specialized application targeted at adware and spyware.
I would strongly recommend getting an antivirus - if it's your home computer, you can use for example.
Coming back to the main issue, check your Spyware Doctor (or any other "security" software you may have installed) settings - perhaps you have told it to block too many things (like images, videos, active content etc.), and modern websites practically cannot work without images and active content (like Flash, Javascript etc.).
