You gas has turned to turpentine, it needs to be flushed out of there and cleaned. If you get some carb cleaner, spray it in there and hope you hit it, It will take some tugging to get that thing to go, but once it goes, it should be ok, if not, it will take a major cleaning, take it off, take it apart, clean out all the jelly, check the jets for clogs, I have seen gas turn into a rock, it was so hard, you would think it was a piece of metal. Needs to be clean, or it won't work. Check it out,, hope this helps. Hopefully, you are still in the jelly stage.

Husqvarna riding mower

The fuel tank breather is in the fuel filler cap, run the machine with the filler cap loose to allow air in, if the tractor runs ok, then replace with a new cap.

Last time used 18 months ago, ran good, no problems. Tried to start it and it won't go...So I checked oil level..(good) removed the fuel bowl replaced old fuel with new fuel all looks well and cle

heat the spark plug for a few minutes then put back in the engine. sometimes works when you not used engine in a long time. it will take a good few goes to get the old fuel out of the carb, the heat helps burn old fuel.

John Deere x320 not starting. Mower sat for three months. Drained and cleaned all bad gas from entire fuel system. Charged battery. Cleaned plugs and air filter. Fuel filter good. Solenoid and fuel pump...

is the primer working ? have you tried the self primer if fitted ? when you turn over the engine is the bubbles in the fuel viewer or does it just drop. or something else.

Rider has sat for years. New batter, new spark plug. Cranks but won't start.

Carburetor needs cleaned, in fact the whole fuel system; tank, lines, filter, carburetor. The carburetor may even need a rebuild, but you can start with a cleaning and go from there.

I hope this is helpful for you and you get it going soon.

Brand new Pope Spitfire 40 lawnmower won't start

Drain the fuel completely if it is older than 1 week. Make sure you undo the bolt at the bottom of the fuel bowl to ensure all old fuel is drained. Refill with fresh fuel (premium unleaded) and try again. If it still does not work then remove the spark plug and rest it on the metal of the mower while still attached to the silicone ignition wire. Have someone hold the cut out bar to the handle (as you normally would to run the motor) and pull the cord. You should see sparks being emitted from the spark plug. (Make sure there is no fuel nearby) If you cannot see any sparks then replace the spark plug with a new one and repeat this process. If you still cannot see any sparks being emitted after attatching the new plug to the silicone wire, resting it on the metal of the mower, and pulling the cord to start it as you normally would, the mower will need to have the resistor and capacitor checked by a professional repairer as no spark is being generated.

Good luck.

Lawn mower does not start up

Lots of thing can stop a victa working!!!!!!!!!. Ok your plug is wet. Turn the fuel off. R&R tank renew fuel(no more than a month old it goes stale)Check for spark, be very careful it could catch a light.
Get the new plug open the gap to about the hex of the plug to the head, away from the plug hole ,the fuel will come out.
If it jumps gap when pulled it has enough spark to fire under load.If lots of fuel comes out its flooded.if so leave plug out remove a/f ,leave tap off, put throttle to full and pull till most fuel is gone.Refit plug and try. let me know how that goes. do this in well vented area. Fumes can build up in shed.
