This is actually hard to control since the echo is coming from the other person who you are currently speaking to. There's a possibility that the microphone on their phone is busted or getting feedback from their environment. The only thing you can do to have them eliminate or avoid this is to have them use a head set or move to a different location. If you need further clarification please revert back to me. Hope this helps.

It's actually dependent on the phone their using, not on the service provider. If their phone is susceptible to unwanted signals and waves then you'll get echoes.

This is not due to the phone but due to the service provider.

Cs540 caller hears echo

Hello, if they are hearing echo, you are speaking too loud. Or have the receiver too close and talking too loud. Or the person on the other end of the line has phone line problems.

Noise when talking on skype

When using services like Skype or VoipBuster the audio is compressed. Depending on the quality of the internet connection the audio quality will be different. If you or the person on the other side of the line has a bad internet or bad WiFi connection, the compression of the audio will be much stronger, resulting in a worse audio quality.

Another problem that occurs many times is an audio feedback. If you, or the person you're talking to uses a microphone and computer speakers, the audio coming out of the computer speakers can be captured by the microphone and be amplified again. It forms a feedback loop and creates an echo. The best thing to do is that you both use a good quality headset instead of putting the audio over computer or iPad speakers.

For your iPad, you can buy the Apple EarPods. They are affordable and contain a microphone to make Skype calls with your iPad.

You own a iPad, which is a device of high quality. If the person you're talking to has a crappy phone or bad hardware, the quality will be bad. The advice then is that that person buys a device that has a higher quality than he or she is using now.

I hope my advise will solve your problem.

I can hear my own voice echoing during calls to other phones. The worst is when I talk to my wife who also has the same phone Samsung Instinct with Sprint Any way to fix this? The echo will at times last...

It's a common problem with the network. There is nothing you can do but call back the person. Anyone tells you different they are pulling yor leg, my wife and I have Iphones for 3 years now, and sometimes it will happen for a few weeks and then stop. Some phones do it more than others, you can try an upgraded sim card, but if you have everything new I doubt it will help, sorry.

Speaker phone volume keeps going loud and quiet

Did the location change, a Echo from a wall or vibration from the table. It is a one way sound, someone talks and you hear. As soon as you talk it cuts out the speaker even if they are still talking and it transmitts what you say. So any noise in the room could trigger the the transmit mode even an echo from the sound being turned up too loud. The mike is on the bottom of the base and can pick up table vibration and send it into transmit mode. So the person talking cuts in and out.
