Question about Electrolux Ovens

1 Answer

My electrolux EOD 3360 bottom oven is getting too hot. The oven temperature light stays on even at the lowest setting or defrost setting. The inside of the oven is literally roasting hot, and anything I cook is burning straight away. The fan is working and the interior light is on, but the oven doesn't seem to recognise that it has reached the set temperature and is continuing to heat up. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The oven is about 3 years old and is cleaned and mainatined regularly. Thank you.

1 . If your ELECTROLUXfan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning thefood more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor isworking you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element isheating but the fan motor is notblowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is alittle more expensive and a bit more involved.
2 . If you have the opposite problem i.e. your ovenis over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your ELECTROLUXoven thermostat
3. A quite common and easily overlooked answer isif your ELECTROLUX oven is not working at all i.e. noheat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTOmode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Electrolux double oven, model# DD060GA, is having trouble with the bottom oven coming on. I also see that your top oven works just fine. This appears to be a UK Electrolux double oven. I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly. They will be able to better assist you in getting your bottom oven functioning correctly.

We have an electrolux E30EW85GPSS double oven. The lower oven appears to work properly. However, the upper oven will bring itself up to the set temperature but after reaching it, does not stay on and...

Hi
This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the sensor is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue start by checking the oven temp. sensor for 1100 ohms, if the rating is more then that then check the control board however, as the issue is only with upper oven it is most likely that the temperature sensor is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Model EOD 43102. The Fan oven will not reach required temperature. I have just had the thermostat replaced. Still the same. 3 years old. godden1@ntlworld.com

see if u have a limiter ...its like a bullet (covere in white cover ) it will have a burn mark on end if you have one. u need to take the top cover off also when you are there take the control switch off see if its melted were the pins move up and down ... (contacters).... other wise take therear cover off inside main oven and inspect the fan element.

Simpson Evolution 904 wall oven cooks very unevenly

I agree, the heating is very uneven in our oven, however, when I calibrated the temperature with a thermocouple, I discovered that the temperature gauge was 25C too hot! That is, if I set the oven temperature gauge to 155C, it was actually 180C inside the oven! Taking this in to account, it is now much easier to cook things without them burning.
