use windows media player... open WMP connect your player it should recognize it... use this to sync music to your sansa...you highlight the songs in WMP right click ... go to add music .. select sync .. once you get the songs into a sync list ... you just sync the sansa...
YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE SYNCED RIGHT....YOU MIGHT NEED TO DRAG AND DROP YOUR FILES OR CONSIDER GETTING A SANDISK E200 OR A CX00 VERSION MP3 THEY ARE MUCH EASIER TO WORK WITH
You can connect the device to your computer and manage it thru "My Computer.
Open My Computer, then open the device (i.e. Sansa m240). Inside there is a Music folder, you can delete them from here. You can also drag songs here to transfer to the player.
If you are not able to see the "music" folder, you may need to enable "Hidden Files and Folders" on your computer.
Best of Luck.
You can burn songs off of a cd or download them. If you have Windows Media Player, make sure you have songs on your library. Highlight the songs you want, go to "sync", and they will be on your device. If you DONT hae windows media, just burn the songs on a file, and drag and drop them in the music folder of your sansa m240
