Question about Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 Pro Scanner

Hello. Please help me. I have scanner A3 USB 1200 pro and Win7 pro 64bit. When I try install driver ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 WIN7 downloaded from Mustek site I get answer like "Can't get access to network localization \". What is reason hereof problem. Best regards Mirek Poland

This might not be the best solution, but it won't take long and it's worth a shot. This is a known problem with some microsoft products. If you visit this microsoft site and click the Microsoft FixIt "Fix this problem" button, it may fix it on its own.

How can I install my ScanExpress A3 USB scanner on a Win7 32 bit machine ?


Hi ,
There are no drivers avilable under W 7 for this unit and it's a shame .
Try installing the XP or Vista driver and run the scanner in compatibility mode .
I succeeded with a HP scanner by downloading a third party twain program after having successfully installed the driver for W XP : http://download.cnet.com/FreeKapture/3000-2094_4-10673689.html

I need scanexpress a3 usb windows 7 driver pls


I succeeded into installing and using the Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB!

I downloaded the driver for Windows Vista from the Mustek website, then did the following steps:
1. left mouse click on the web.exe downloaded file and choose Properties;
2. in Properties I checked "Execute this program always as Administrator" and "Execute in compatibility mode for Windows Vista";
3. without any scanner connected I executed web.exe, gave the authorization even if recognized certificate;
4. allowed the system to restart;
5. connected the scanner;
6. directly used it into any program.

Please let me know if these instructions was useful!

When i scan the image i get is black


  1. Shut the computer system off and then disconnect the scanner from the power source.
  2. Leave the scanner disconnected from the power source for at least one full minute.
  3. Reconnect the power and then restart the computer system.
  4. When the computer system has fully restarted, try scanning again.
