Please mention the details of your microwave and the details of the fault of the switch /knob.
If you meant only the knob is damaged or the timer switch also is faulty.
mention also the age of the microwave so that it must be decided after an estimation.

Here in Australia we have different power sockets and power supply As I understand the machine I have has 120V 60HZ 1025 W What do I need to use it here in Australia? Do I need a new plug or a...

good day.

first, the power socket,,try to see the power plug of your machine and the power socket you have..compare it..when its compatible no need to replace,,if not you need a socket adapter.or if not available buy a new plug (if your plug is not compatible to the socket)

secondly, you don't need a transformer if your ac supply in Australia is 120v..
if the supply in your place bigger than 120v...like 220v,230 or 250v..you have to use a step-down transformer with input of what you have in Australia and the output is 120v..and of course pay attention for the wattage of transformer to avoid over heat or burn..I suggest to buy 1500w...

thank you and good luck

I have a mini oven made by russell hobbs i need a new oven control knob part no 12667 rh ive been told it out of date, and no one sells the part can you help me pls thanks

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
Boy after searching and searching; I understand why you paid us a visit here at FixYa. Russell Hobbs seems to be nearly invisible when it comes to replacement parts other than things like filters! I saw your post during the 1st minute... I am just now responding after some serious research.

Use this web page and see if you have any luck contacting anyone to get your knob.
http://www.russell-hobbs.com/parts.shtml The amazon link is useless so the link here seems to be the only way to resolve your knob problem. Worst case... they confirm that there isn't a knob for your oven.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

We installed our new gas stove now. I would like to know if al the burners' sparks will fire if one knob is pressed in?

This is a pretty common practice; there is normally only one high voltage source, not one for each burner, and is routed to all of them any time one range-top control is depressed. This eliminates the need for 4 individual special high voltage switches to route them to one burner at a time.

Cleaning ge profile convection microwave

HI HERE THE STEPS TO DISASSEMBLEA gas range cabinet comes apart very easily. Here's how:
Step 1: Take out the screws that hold the panels, and pull off the control knobs. On the control panel the knobs are friction-fit; pull them straight off. Some knobs may have setscrews in the base of the knobs; back out these screws using a screwdriver or Allen wrench and pull off the knobs.

Step 2: Remove the back service panel on the control panel by backing out a series of screws around the edge of the panel. To remove the front panel, take off the control knobs and remove a series of mounting screws that hold the decorative panel to the frame. These screws may be hidden by molding or trim; pry off the molding or trim with a screwdriver, or take out several screws.

Step 3: To gain access to the burner assemblies, remove the burner grates and then the top of the range. The entire range top should either lift up and off the range or open up and back on hinges. The oven door can usually be removed by pulling it straight up off the hinges on both sides of the door. Some hinges have a latch that must be unlocked before the door can be removed.

Step 4: If the surface light of the range burns out, remove retaining screws and panels as necessary to gain access to the bulb. Replace the burned-out bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage; check the ends of the old bulb for this information. Then replace any retaining panels.

Step 5: If the oven light burns out, unscrew it and remove it from the oven. Replace the burned-out bulb with a new one of the same wattage, made for oven use.

Oven control board 7021-0625

The oven model is an Australian Westinghouse PAD630TF. Westinghouse Australia used to offer an exchange repair service but no longer do so. The oven is about 20 years old, and in very good condition apart from this control board failure.

I'm trying to source a new LCD display for a Carousel microwave model R-380D it doesn't display all characters properly after a power black out. I live in sydney australia and my email is...

You can visit Sharp's Australian support site and click on the "Spareparts Outlets" link under "Frequented Resources".

You might also consider clicking the "Service Centre Locator". If you're lucky, you may find a local servicer who may actually repair your existing display as I do here in the US. This can save you a lot of money.
