Try to search your drives if it has a recovery manager. if you have you can re store it in its factory settings.

Reseting to factory settings without the recovery disk

The only other way to do this is if that option is made available by the manufacturer. Other than that, you will just have to back up your info and do a clean install of the operating system of your choice.

Your hard drive has a hidden partition that contains the original factory OS and program stored for rescue and recovery.
1 Boot to Windows.
2 Press <Alt> + <F10> to open the Acer eRecovery Management utility.
3 Enter the password to proceed. The default password is six zeros.
4 In the Acer eRecovery Management window, select Recovery actions and
click Next.
5 In the Recovery settings window, select Reinstall applications/drivers and
click Next.
6 Select the desired driver/application and follow the instructions on screen

HOW CAN I RESTORE MY ACER TRAVELMATE 2200 without the original disk??????????????? NOW CAN U ANSWER THAT...ASAP

Hello !

Note: the recovery process helps you restore the C: drive with the original software content that is installed when you purchase your notebook.

You can try ALT+F10 or CTRL+F10 during the initial boot cycle. This should prompt the laptop to access the recovery partition on the hard drive.

If it doesn't work :

Activate BIOS Setup Utility, press <F2> during POST.

Check the BIOS settings.

a Check to see if "Acer disc-to-disc" function is enabled or not.
b Make sure the [Acer D2D Recovery] setting in [Main] is
[Enabled].
c Exit the BIOS Setup Utility and save changes. The system will
reboot.

Hope this helps.

Have you tried a dongle? Also, do you have the software installed correctly (check in the control panel/system/device manager). It maybe either or both of these. You may have a damaged bluetooth connection so if you have all the drivers correctly installed then a dongle would be the only other option as far as i'm aware
