When i put a disk in the screeen appears with 'line in' and doesn't play

When i put a disk in the palyer it says line in at the top of the screen, please help.

Thanks realy works i verified my dvd player and was correct the swich was in IN y moved to OUT.
now i can play my dvd player thanks a lot. have a nice day.

Perhaps, it's been accidentally moved the switch on LINE SELECT to IN position (the switch is located on the right side, near the back corner of the DVD player). The switch SHOULD be moved to OUT position.
Tah dah! It's playing!

White screen otherwise no display

Looks like the software just hanged-up on you. Try to reset the Ipod by following the procedures below.

1st option:
Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for 10 seconds (until the Apple logo appears).
You may need to repeat the reset several times.
If the reset doesn't help, then put the iPod into forced disk mode.

2nd option (Disk Mode):
Plug the iPod into a high-powered USB port, let it sit for 2 hours, then disconnect it. If you have a wall charger, plug in the iPod, then follow these steps while it is still plugged in.
Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears
Immediately switch your figures to press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until "Disk Mode" appears at the top.

My ipod nano screen is white and beeps twice after being reset. both reset and the extended reset have not worked. music plays on the ipod but the screen does not function.

The screen went white and at top of screen said "disc mode". Wouldn't respond to any of buttons and wouldn't charge when plugged into computer. Went back to normal on its own after 3 days and...

Two Black (thick) lines that break up the screen


Play with a DVD player and see if the problem resists. If yes, may be the Y-board that control video got defective. Another posibility is the logic board. Need technician to figure out.

Not recognizing DVD player


i would say for some reason your dvd player is not compatible from now on with that brand of blank dvd!


get the firmware update from the brand website all you do is download the file burnit on a cd and put it in the dvd player should fix most and eventual problems
