Yup that is the Screen's back light inverter or CCFL(the actual light).
Here is sites which well the inverter for your model: (this is the cheapest I found in a short time but keep looking)

Just pay attention to the dismantling not the screen replacing, once you open up the screen its pretty self explanatory how to replace it.
