Question about Nintendo Wii Console
Some simple fixes:
- Turn the disc around. When I first got my Wii I put the discs in backwards pretty often.
- Clean the disc off, and check for scratches. Scratched discs cause issues and may not be read.
- Try yet another Wii Sports game disc. Maybe it was just bad luck that this one was also broken.
- Try another game disc; it's possible it's not Wii sports but the Wii itself that is broken.
Additionally, make use of Nintendo's support page. It's actually pretty helpful with common problems such as this. At worst, after going through all their fixes you'll be able to send in your Wii for a replacement if the problem persists (assuming you're under warranty). Here's a link to the support page for your specific problem.
