So, you did install ReadyDriver Plus... Is it still available in your Start->All Programs menu? Please let me know before we do further steps.

  • dimgord Mar 23, 2011

If it is there, please try to uninstall it.

  • josedaniel Mar 23, 2011

its not in the programs menu but is in the control panel>unistall>redydriver plus and i delete it and the program is deleted yet says (is in the progams folder ) i deleted again and shootdown >start >the problem persist :/

  • dimgord Mar 23, 2011

then let's try to delete these two entries from your bcd file. first, though, let's backup your current configuration in case thing go wrong.

please type from command prompt (start it as Administrator): bcdedit /export c:\bcdbackup

let me know how it went, then we will delete 'bad' guys

  • dimgord Mar 23, 2011

by the way, bcdedit /enum 5 was not correct because digit "5" was an item number in my list what you need to do. it was a confusion because we cannot post multiple lines here, sorry, I put 5) in a new line, but after posting in was concatenated in one long line...so, later on I will put commands in quotes "". please do not type quotes themselves, i.e. if i send you a command "cp a b", just type cp a b

I have a acer windows 7 laptop, when I turn it on , the sreen says resuming windows, then another screen appears that says setup is starting services, it won't go past this screen

put in the windows 7 disk. start again end say you want to install windows. Then the operating system discovered there is already an operating system and asks you, what to do. Put on a complete new windows, or repair the exiting one. Chose that, repair. The system will use the disk to repair the parts giving trouble now.

Try restarting the computer using Safe mode or Last Known Good Configuration.

Step 1: Turn Off Computer.
Step 2: Power it back on, as soon as you press the power button, keep tapping the F8 button on your keyboard (donot hold it down) until you get a black screen.
Step 3: Select Last Known Good Configuration.

If that fails, Follow step 1 and 2 then select Safe mode.
If that does not work, you will have to reinstall Windows using a Windows Operating Disk (In this Case you will lose all the data that is in your C:/) Drive.

Hello,

Your computer's operating system just crashes down. What you can do is to do a start up repair. You need the operating system discs which came with your computer during the time when you bought it. It says windows 7 installation/operating system.

Here's what you need to do.

1. Insert the windows 7 operating system disc in the dvd drive.
2. Restart the computer. It will bring you to a page which will ask you to press any key. Just press any key to boot to the installation cd.
3. A blue screen will appear and it will bring you to the page which has the option to install or to repair. Select repair.
4. Then follow the on-screen instructions and finish the process until it restarts.
5. If it does not fix the problem, you have to do a complete/clean reinstallation.

I am providing you a full tutorial on how to do it. Click on the link below so that you will be directed to the link.

Here are some discrete steps you shall also take besides fixing your Windows 7 registry which is inevitable for safer and stable computing:
* Conduct an antivirus and antimalware scan. Fixing for malwares after a registry scan gives an extra protection to the PC and saves PCs from lots of dangerous infections.
* Start Windows 7 in safe mode and restore your PC/system to the previous date after which you received the Windows 7 updates. It is believed that some updates may be behind these screen issues in Windows 7.
* Adjust your display settings since the wrong settings may also cause the Windows 7 black screen also called the blank screen. You can do this by starting Windows in safe mode.
Follow all the guidelines and start from registry repairing scan for Windows 7 to fix Windows 7 black screen.use registry cleaner reg in out to solve the issue

Laptop is working fine until the screen goes black

The problem of black screen can also happen in other versions of the Windows. However, the symptoms and effects of the problems in all operating systems are almost same. For instance, when a user starts his Windows, everything goes fine. But when he logs into it there awaits a black screen instead of the normal desktop layout. An average computer user finds it very disturbing and has no clue how to fix Windows 7.
However, the best way to find a solution to this problem is to fix the registry errors in your computer which become the cause of all major Windows errors and crashes. The registry in Windows 7 is a very important component of the entire operating system and it stores information about the Windows settings. If these settings are not adjusted properly then there start to appear strange computer problems such as Windows 7 black screen.
