Hi there.

May i know what game console is in question? Is it a PS3? If it is, do you see a yellow light flashing?

Needed information will be appreciated.

Thank you!

My SDE - 120N Loads up and runs perfect for about 5 minutes and then it beeps twice and shuts down and restarts. Why?

listen to hear if the cooling fan turns on, you can probably turn it over and look through the grid, if it is loaded with lint then blow it out.. possible your CPU cooling fan is shot

I have a dx6100 which does not boot because of the red light that keeps on beeping.

sounds kinda like a memory shut down code beeping or hardware shut down take side off and start unplugging hardware devices 1 at a time and try rebooting until it starts up

1st take memory sticks out and just put 1 of them back in a slot at a time and see if it will boot

When i turned on my hard drive it started to boot up then all of a sudden this alarm (sounds like a car alarm) went off and it shut back down.

These beeps you are hearing are warning beeps. The first thing i would try is if you have 2 ram sticks in take the one out and boot up if it still beeps put the ram back in and remove the other one. Or it could be dust on your ram or in the slot so take a paint brush and lightly dust the ram and the slot.

The other possibility is your cpu over heating the you will need to take the heatsink and fan off and dust it out as the dust could be blocking the air flow thus over heating your cpu.

Gateway GT4010 boots then starts beeping and shuts off

First check your power supply section and check your power fan that is running properly. if ok then the suspected area is your processor section. please check it if its collar fan nor running properly then clean up or change that. and the other advice is please check your processor pin which are too tiny. be careful about these.

I have a dell dimensions 5100 C and I was using it one day and it all of a sudden shut down. Now when I go to turn it back on the amber led light on the power button flashes, and will not power up....

You need to listen carefully to those beeps they will tellyou in a moment where to start looking for any problem

They are listed in your manual but if you dont have that then they re listed on the dell websiteunder the support section Q and A.

Computer will not boot and has crashed

This actually sounds like a faulty power supply to me.
The Hard drive not being detected will be due to the rest of the system sucking the power to start itself (motherboard goes first), then when the hard drive digs in and tries, there isn't enough there. Suddenly the hard drive dosn't exist.
Go into setup, power has stabilised, HDD gets powered in the next cycle after exiting the bios, but the rest of the system dosn't need to draw as much power since it is active and stable and the hard drive is detected finally.

Now with the system running, the system is unstable due to the power requirements of everything in there eating it.
Even the beep pattern fits the profile, the next big power ****** would have seen to that, the video card.

Get your hands on a decent 450-550w power supply.
