Battery gets discharged

There are 2 possible causes here. Either there is a voltage drain from something on the bike or the battery is discharging on it\'s own accord. If it is a wet battery (ie non gel type) often when it is new and first acid filled some people make the mistake of quick charging them straight after filling. What then happens is the battery only gets a surface charge, so it will charge up to ie; 12.8 volts fully charged but have no cranking amps. Secret is to fill the new battery with acid then let it sit for an hour to get full penetration of the plates then slow charge it for 4 to 5 hours to get good battery performance and life.

What is the load on the unit? How old is it?

The symptom can occur if the load is too large. It will also happen when the unit reaches a certain age.

I've found that the low-end consumer UPS's should be replaced when the battery fails. The charging circuitry usually fails to charge the battery even with a new battery soon after the replacement.

The way I check if the battery or the UPS charging system has failed is with a voltmeter to give the current voltage and a variable DC power supply (whatever is appropriate for the battery) to attempt to charge the battery. I can watch the battery discharge with an oscilliscope if I want a full trace of the unit.) Charge the battery fully then watch the unit over time. If the battery itself is bad, you won't get the full charge or it will discharge as soon as it is removed from the power supply.

What you have to do is let your phone die all the way and shut off cause its dead then Plug it in the charger for 2hrs Will Make your battery last twice as long

Nokia 3230.This is a very good phone.As far as your problem of the battery getting drained off is concerned,I would suggest you to purchase an original battery from your nearest Nolia priority dealer with Bill and warranty.
I guess this will surely help you out.because currently one gets a lot of varieties of batteries and spares available in the market ,but htey are all of no use,.
Just opt for Nokia branded genuine spares and parts.

Hi ,Try to charge your mobile with another same model battery, switch it on.. and keep it swiching on for five mins,, and try with your battery .. its really works.. this is all because your battery charge limit is gone under minimum

The batteries that are in most cordless phones, and even cell phones, have a "memory". If the battery is constantly being fully discharged from a lack of charging, or if it's used to being on the charger all the time, it will reduce the life of the battery substantially. You'll need to get a new battery, and try to make sure that the phone is placed back on its charger every night before you go to bed. This should allow the battery to receive a full charge each night to prevent full discharge and lengthen the life of your battery. I went through about 2 or 3 batteries once before I found this out. Hi this problem is going to ba faulty battery i had the same problem after replacing the battery it was fine.
The problem was a couple of bad cells inside the battery but what your supposed to do to prolong the life of the battery is to let it go totally flat once a month i mean totally flat so it wont even light phone up then do full charge this keeps the cells good in the battery so remember to do this often should keep the battery lasting ages let me know if you need further assistance
