Question about Casio Exilim EXZ75 Digital Camera

1 Answer

After having my memory card fill up I uploaded the images to my computer. After uploading I placed chip back in the camera and deleted all images - which it said it did successfully. Now I can only take 3 pictures before it says it is full again because it is now not reading / or saving the images to the chip but rather the camera. Also after re-inserting the chip back into the computer I see that it in fact did NOT delete the photos from the chip although it said it had (and I am unable to view them on camera). Do I attempt to clean the prongs in which connect to the memory card or what do I do? If so would a simple q-tip with alcohol work to do this? PLEASE HELP I could potentially lose business if I do not get this figured out right away!

You can simply delete the photos from your computer instead. Simply drag all your photos to the recycle bin in windows or trash can in mac and then empty it. This will delete everything you have on the card.

What does out of memory message mean on my nikon coolpix camera?

You have two questions here. Out of memory could mean that your memory card is full and you cannot take any additional pictures until you either replace the card with a new one, or delete or reformat the card you have in it. It could also mean that your card is "locked". Check for the little toggle switch on the side of the card to be sure it is in the "unlocked" position. Or it could mean that you do NOT have a memory card in the camera at all and you're using the very small internal memory your camera comes with (it usually will only hold about 4-5 images. If this is the case, put an external memory card in the camera.

The second part of the question deals with uploading to your computer. There are a whole host of reasons that can cause this. Here are a few.
1. Your software is configured incorrectly. It might be set for only a certain type of image (jpg, RAW, TIFF). It might be set to accept duplicate images and your images are already uploaded (somewhere on the machine).
2. It might be that your cord or connection is defective.
3. It might be that the computer is trying to find the external memory card and you don't have one.
4. You software might be looking for videos instead of images. Check your software configuration to be sure its set for image upload.
5. Be sure your battery is fresh. Some cameras will not upload with a weak battery.
6. The camera or software could be defective.

We have inserted sd-ms card onto our laptop to upload the photos onto FB.however the card when inserted back onto the camera, about 50 over images show, incompatible jpeg?how do we solve this issue?

The computer uses a small program to be able to upload pictures from the memory card once the pictures are safely on the computer hard drive hopefully you created a file folder for them then the memory card needs to be formatted in the camera. Formatting the memory card cleans the card and makes it compatible to the camera again. Every time you download images to the computer the memory needs formatting in the camera. Any new memory card needs formatting in the camera a card that has been formatted in the computer needs to be reformatted in the camera. Also please be aware that there is a protection lock on the side of the SD card and if placed in the incorrect orientation will actually lock the card from formatting or deleting files on the card. I'm going to include a diagram here to show you where this little switch need to be for the "unlock" position.

Switch needs to be towards the top of the card in the direction of the gold contacts

My kodak easyshare C813 is telling me that internal memoryis full. What do I do!

You have to upload your images from your camera to your computer and save and delete the pictures on your camera.
You can buy SD memory card which can store lot more images than the internal memory.
If you will be using the SD card, you have to select from the menu that you want the camera to write images on the external memory instead of the internal memory.
You can upload images on the camera to your computer through USB cable. The cable is cheap if you buy from eBay especially ones that are being sold from Hong Kong.
USB cable from Hong Kong worked well on my Kodak.

Communication error when uploading pictures on computer

I had the same problem. My problem was that there were more than 1,000 images stored on the memory card. Once I deleted some of the images from the camera memory card, I was able to download pictures again.

Hey kholcombe252,
I'm assuming this means you have formatted the memory card. If this is the case you could purchase a memory card reader that connects to your PC via a USB port, and you should be able to copy and paste your images back to the memory card.

Sincerely,
Allan

Memory full means, if you have inserted a memory card, it is full and you need to delete or upload photos to your PC. If it is internal memory (*meaning you did not put a memory card in) then hook it up into your computer and upload the images. You can usually delete them by pushing the little green play button and then choosing delete all/one

Images not uploaded

Try uploading your pictures into Scanner/Camera wizard on your computer. It will save them into a my pictures folder under my documents. Also make sure that they're not saved on your internal memory while you have a memory card installed, otherwise when you transfer it's only going to transfer the ones off the memory card and not the internal memory.

No images on card but no memory

You need to format the simm memory card. Your camera can format the memory card. If you have the user manual it should tell you how to do this.
