There is a problem with your lens.

To fix this, you will need to remove the cover to expose the mechanical loading disc tray.
Using a cotton bud moistened with alcohol clean the lens.
Please check also the ribbon wire connecting the mainboard and the lens circuit board, as this may be loose. Remove then reseat properly.

You will need to do this while the unit is turn off.

Let me know how it goes.

My bose CD player is not working my cd are stuck I don,t why

Good luck this should do it.

If you have a cd or two stuck in your Bose wave radio, here's how to remove it and save yourself $99. This procedure is for the radio (model AWRCC1 or similar) with a single front loading cd slot.
PART I
1. First unplug the power, wait a minute, and then replug power, watching the front display.
2. The display will read "Ejecting". If the cd ejects, then you're done and can skip Part II. If it doesn't eject and/or it displays "Disk error" then you'll need to do the Part II steps.
PART II
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Turn the radio upside down with the front facing you.
3. Remove the 5 screws from the bottom plate.
4. Hinge the front of the bottom plate up no more than 2". Don't overdo this or you'll damage various ribbon cables inside. Use extra hands or a prop to keep it open this amount.
5. Reach inside and tilt-up the front of cd player's metal housing just enough to access the rims of the cd(s) within the space created in step 4.
6. Pinch the rim(s) of the cd(s) and gently pull it/them out.
7. Reverse these steps to reassemble your radio.
Enjoy your cd player again!

Cassette wont stay in ,late 90's radio. I put it in but just keeps ejecting

The eject button is stuck (probably got some stuff splashed on it). Take the face plate off and clean/check area around this button for goo, dirt, or damage.

Indash am/fm cd cassette player keeps spitting out cd's

Your CD may not be music CD. Some car radio doesn't accept MP3 or WMV files. Change it to a good radio such as JVC car radio.

I cant eject my cd

There is a indent in the front of the face of the radio. Try to push it with a sharp pencil or pen. It might reset the cd part and eject button might work again. If not you may have a cd stuck in it then you can try get tweezers and pull it out or a credit card and try to straighten it out. Those were some of the techniques I used when I was an installer for 12 yrs.

CD will not eject from unit.Word'IN' keeps

you can try either pushing the reset switch (which will be a small indentation either on the face or the subpanel behind the face) or disconnect power to the radio for a few seconds.

Jvc kd-sx770 car stereo--radio works, but cd player doesn't

Hello beeswing70,

The player is recognizing that a CD has been inserted but is not able to read it.

Sometimes the lens assembly becomes contaminated and obscures the laser. I'd try using a commercial "lens cleaning CD" two or three times and then try a CD again. These lens cleaning CD's are widely available. If cleaning does not help, the player need professional service.

Hope this helps.
