My DR201 works great in the LEFT (clockwise) setting but NOT in the RIGHT (counter clockwise) position. It will occasionally work in the RIGHT position, but is intermittent. It has always functioned this way in my years of ownership.

All you have to do is take the model number and go to Sears to order a trigger switch. Take the cover off of the drill, take the wires off the old switch, and put the new one in. It is super simple.

Why does my top load whirpool washer restart on its own after it finishes the last rinse and spin cycle. It does this on all settings, delicate, normal or heavy.

  1. Turn the washer off.
  2. Set the mode selector dial to NORMAL.
  3. Turn the dial counter clockwise ONE click (LEFT), clockwise THREE clicks (RIGHT), counter clockwise ONE click (LEFT) then clockwise ONE click (RIGHT).
  4. Now press the start button.
  5. All the cycle indicating lights should be illuminated.
  6. Press the Start Stop button once.
  7. Rotate the dial until Rinse, Wash, and Stop light illuminate.
  8. Turn the washer off and unplug it for 10 seconds.
  9. Finally, turn on the washer and it should now be reset.
  10. Run a test load empty to be sure the reset worked. If not perform the reset procedure one more time.

Cae2743bq will not turn on all lights on and lid lock is lit up

Try this, worked for me! :)

New WHIRLPOOL Top Load Washer
Model #'s CAE2743BQ, CAE2763BQ
Cycle Selector Knob key dance: [CCW=Counter Clockwise and CW = Clockwise]
Start On "NORMAL"
1 step CCW (Left)
2 steps CW (Right, Right)
1 step CCW (Left)
1 step CW (Right)
Stay on "HEAVY DUTY"
(If unsuccessful LEDs will not flash, and you must return the selector to the Normal Cycle position and
wait 4-5 seconds before retrying. )

If you are successful in the process, all LEDs will be flashing
Toggle between HEAVY DUTY and NORMAL until ONLY the RINSE light is on, then press the
START button for about 30 seconds. Machine will then enter CALIBRATION mode for about 2 - 4
minutes. DO NOT RAISE THE LID

I purchased a Wilton 6 in grinder, model 17203. It spins in a counter clockwise direction. Is this normal? In other words the wheel is turning down on the material being worked. Thanks Jim Price

Counter-clockwise as viewed from which end? The correct direction as viewed from the right end would be counter-clockwise. As viewed from the left end it would be clockwise. In other words, when using the grinder from the front, the surface of both wheels should be going down. If this is not the direction it turns, take it back. Good luck, Al K

On my ziess conquest, what turning knobs do what? which one makes it go up and down and which one makes it go left and right?

The top knob should be marked with a "U" and an arrow pointing clockwise. Turning this knob clockwise should adjust point of impact Up, and turning it counter-clockwise should move it Down.

The knob on the side should be marked with a "R" and an arrow pointing clockwise. Turning this knob clockwise should adjust the point of impact Right, and counter-clockwise is Left.

We have a Viewsonic VX2235wm Black 22" Widescreen We have been experiencing a Grey shadow to the right - damn annoying. Can you please help.

There are "on-screen controls" (electronic) on the monitor and can adjust the screen "position" up-down, left-right, wider-narrower and perhaps twist; clockwise-counter clockwise).
Try that and see if it removes the grey (empty?) area.

If you know the combination:

1) Turn the dial to the left a few complete rounds, then stop on 1st number.
2) Turning the dial to the right, pass up the 2nd number once, then stop on it on the next round.
3) Turn the dial to the left directly to the 3rd number then stop.

The handle should open now.
