Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
One possible fix is to put the ps3 into recovery mode and formating the drive. WARNING: YOU WILL LOSE ALL SAVE DATA, MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR DATA FIRST. A video tutorial can be found here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZWye1CLTVo)
If that doesn't wor kthen there is a problem with the GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) possibly caused by overheating. If your ps3 is still under warranty I would suggest sending it to Sony for repairs, if it is not under warranty then it will cost you $150 to send it in for repairs.
