You can get the drivers for the VGA adapter from:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=P4VM890&o=All

It doesn't support Windows past XP though.

Please leave feedback if this helps. Thanks.

I need a NVIDIA video adapter for my dell D800 please

I am assuming this is a Dell Latitude D800; I found the driver for it here:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19
if you click the download link next to your part (the FX 5650) then install it after it finishes downloading, that should be all you need to do.
This is not a very new driver (dated back to 2005); I also checked the nvidia website (nvidia.com). While they have a 5 series FX driver available, it may or may not work will your Dell because of implementation differences made by OEM builders like Dell or HP. If you want to play games you might try the nvidia.com site, select your part + version of windows, and install it. (if you get an "unsupported hardware" or "supported device not found" type message then use the Dell driver.
If you are not gaming, etc. then the one from Dell should do just fine.

Video Adapter for ati xpress 200m

Toshiba don't do drivers for XP. The ATI website states the following

Advisory:
The display driver supplied by the laptop manufacturer is customized for the built-in flat panel display, and the graphics features and functions specific to the laptop. It is strongly recommended to use the supplied drivers.
If installing a different operating system other than the one included with the laptop, the laptop may not meet all the requirements, and supported drivers may not be available.
The laptop manufacturer is the exclusive provider of driver updates. If the required driver update is not available at the laptop manufacturers’ website, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer directly, to see if an updated driver will be made available in the future.
AMD cannot provide driver updates directly from AMD.com.

What graphics adapter upgrade do I need to make

Hi.

The graphic adapter is the video card installed inside the laptop, and normally does not get replaced, as this is integrated with the motherboard.

After installing Windows 7 you will need to install all drivers.

I would recommend using Vista on this laptop, since factory drivers for Windows 7 had not been released. You will have to install general drivers not designed for this laptop.

If you want to install Windows 7 here you get the instructions.

I quote the part concerning video adapter drivers:

"Update the Video Driver
  1. Preparation
    1. Be sure there are no other video drivers installed (you will want to start out with just the standard VGA driver)
    2. Download the latest 82852/82855 drivers from Intel's website
    3. Extract the drivers somewhere, but do not install anything
  2. Turn Off the Digital Driver Signing Check
    1. Create a shortcut on the desktop to cmd.exe
    2. Right-click on the shortcut and select "Run as administrator"
    3. When the command window opens, execute the following commands:
      1. bcdedit /set nointegritychecks ON
      2. bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
    4. Reboot
  3. Install the Video Driver
    1. Open the Device Manager
    2. On the menu, go to Action > Add Legacy Hardware
    3. Acknowledge the initial dialog screen
    4. Select "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)"
    5. Click Next
    6. Select "Display Adapters" and click Next
    7. Click the "Have Disk..." button
    8. Navigate to the path where you extracted the Intel drivers. The *.inf file will be in the Win2000 folder
    9. IMPORTANT: Do not select the 82852/82855 GM/GME drivers, select the 945GM driver (yes, this is counter-intuitive)
    10. If prompted to reboot, DO NOT REBOOT
    11. If told the 945 device might not work right, acknowlege the error, then run Action > Scan for Hardware Changes
    12. "Intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controllers" and a "Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family" devices should now be listed under "Display Adapers
    13. Disable the 945GM device
    14. Reboot
  4. Verify the Video Driver Installation
    1. Upon rebooting, Windows 7 may roll back one or more of your display devices to Standard VGA
    2. Open Device Manager
    3. Check the Display Adapters
    4. If there is only one 82852/82855 GM/GME device, or if there is a new "unknown" device, precisely repeat the above driver installation section (include the instructions for disabling the 945GM device); in the case of an unknown device, run the "Update Driver" action for that device instead of running the generic "Add Legacy Hardware"
    5. When everything is working, you should have "Graphics Properties" and "Graphics Options" menu items in the pop-up menu when you right-click on the desktop
    6. The "Graphics Option" item should have sub-items for display rotation
    7. Reboot and verify that Windows 7 no longer rolls back your display drivers after rebooting
  5. Protect the Video Driver Installation
    1. Go to Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Update
    2. Windows will likely tell you that an important update is available
    3. Click the "important update is available" link (do NOT click "Install updates")
    4. Right-click on the "Intel Corporation - Display - Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family" update
    5. Click "Hide update" from the context menu
    6. If the display driver gets updated to what is currently on Windows Update, the system will revert back to the Standard VGA driver.
  6. NOTE: When using a driver install hack different from the method described here, I have read reports that a system might Blue Screen when using Windows Media Player to play DVD's; however, alternate media players, such as VLC, reportedly do not exhibit this issue. I do not know if this method will have this same problem, but I thought I would mention this workaround in case someone does experience this issue."
You find driver software at Intel Download Center

Resolution goes back to 800X600X75 sva 20" LCD

When you can't change the screen resolution then most likely only the default VGA driver has been installed. You need to install the graphics driver of the video card that is installed in your computer.
To check which graphics driver is installed, click on Control Panel - Display - Settings - Advance - Adapter tab. If the graphics adapter is set for Standard VGA then the graphics driver was not installed.

Something is Wrong with my computer (Vidoe card probelm)

If the display is working fine for you and you're seeing everything just fine, ignore the message. If you're needing the additional graphics capability, you'll need to install the updated video driver.

If you don't know the make and model of your video card, go into Control Panel> System> Device Manager and look at your display adapter. Double click on the adapter to get more info.

Then I would go to the manufacturer's website and download and install the driver for your video card. The error message should disappear next time you run the diagnostic.

Windows 7 problem with video card (Intel 852-855)

I've search about that chip video card of your motherboard, I don't it has a software driver for windows 7, maybe it's not supported yet to run for windows 7.
I have a link here but for only Intel 852/855GM/865G/845G/910G/915G Graphics Driver 14.9 Windows 2000/XP. www.Intel852GM.com/vga
And supposed to be for the windows.
All you have to do is buy a new VGA that support for windows 7, at least now many kind of VGA card available. Hope this might give you some ideas.

How to adjust LCD wide monitor to a higher

This error is typical of an incorrect video driver has been installed.
To check the installed video driver go to Control Panel - Display - Settings tab - Advance button - Adapter tab. This shows the adapter/driver. If it shows VGA graphics card or not the model of your graphics card then you need to download the correct graphic/video driver and install it. You will then able to configure the display at a higher resolution and at the highest color bit (ie 32 bit if there is sufficient video RAM installed).

Use a program called Everest to positively identify the video hardware in your laptop. Confirm youre installing the correct video driver for your device. If you have the right driver and it still wont install, try a forced install (unpack the driver into a folder, go to display properties > settings > advanced > adapter, update the adapter driver lead it to the folder you created).
