Question about DISH Network IR Remote Control
I would need to get a better idea of what model remote you have. I would recommend viewing our link here which provides both the instructions and codes to program your remote
If the codes there don't work you can also try a power scan listed below to try and scan the code for the remote in. Which button you hold below depends what the equipment you're programming does. If VCR/DVD you'll use that button, if another device you'll use AUX.
1.) Press and hold the VCR/DVD or AUX button (about six seconds) on top of the remote until all mode button backlights come on, then release.
2.) Press 0 for a TV, 1 for a VCR/DVD, 2 for any other device then press STAR (*) and press and release the Power button.
3.) Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off.
4.) Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times. To verify the code works try several different functions for that equipment.
