Sounds like a loose cable. Try tightening the two thumb screws holding the connector..

I need to change powercord from a g & e electric ends into like a square black block, going inside dryer.

It depends on what type of cord you are changing to. I think what you're describing as a sqaure black block is the terminal block.
If your new cord has four wires, should be black, white, red, and green. If this is the case, it goes like this:
Black to the far left screw (L2)
White to the middle screw (N)
Red to the far right (L1)
Green goes to the cabinet, usually behind a green screw.
If this is the case, you're changing from a 3 wire cord to a 4 wire cord, and your 3 wire cord is still connected; then behind the middle screw is probably a strap connected underneath it. When you change to the 4 wire cord, bend and push the strap up out of the way for future use if needed. It acts as the ground for the 3 wire cord.
With the 4 wire cord, the green mounted to the cabinet acts as the ground.

If i'm wrong with the above, and you're intalling a 3 wire cord; they could all be the same color (the wires). If so, just put....
The far left wire to the far left screw.
The middle wire to the middle screw with the strap attached to it.
the far right wire to the far right screw.

I hope this is helpful, and that I havent completely misunderstood you and wasted your time. I would be glad to help any further if you need it.

My screen is green i was going to change monters didn't work so i put it back and it turn please.

Red, Green, and Blue are the colors sent from your computer to the monitor. Sounds like red and blue are not working. If you've tried a new monitor, I'd try a new video cable next. Then clean the connector on the back of the computer (compressed air). Finally, replace either the video card or the computer.

I have a viewsonic computor monitor...I was hook up to 2 monitors..When I unplug one I cannot get a signal from the one left...check all plugs and wires

Things to try.

Move the signal (VGA) cord going to the monitor from the computer, from the one output, onto the other output.
If you removed the primary monitor without changing your display settings, then your second monitor will have nothing to extend from.
Another possibility is that the second display is disabled since there is no monitor detected.

Also, Be shure the power cord plugged into the back of the monitor, is pushed in all the way. These tend to slip out a little when getting moved around.

Hope this helps.

Color dis-order and then flickering display

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the monitor drivers if any are applicable, run a direct X test on your hardware make sure your video card is OK. Try doing a wiggle test on the VGA cable that is plug ed into the back of your computer, that sends the signal to the monitor. Work your way from one end of the cable to the other, look at the monitor screen and see if there is any change in the color , if that don't do it its possible there could be a lose connection between the circuit board and the picture screen inside the monitor, unless your mechanically inclined and know some basics of electronics its recommended you don't do this and get some one who is qualified to do so, but if you are mechanically inclined and do know basics of electronics and if your feeling confident remove the power cord from the wall outlet, remove the power cord from the back of the monitor, shut down your computer and unplug it from the wall outlet, remove the VGA cable from your computer, examine where all the screws are that hold the housing from the monitor together put a white sheet on your bed and carefully and slowly split the housing which are the front and back of your monitor, in the center of the white sheet so if any screws fall out you'll see them on the sheet, when you pull the two halves apart, if it doesn't come apart don't force it study its body and check for more screws when you get them apart , before you touch anything inside the monitor touch a metal object some where in the room that has no electric or electronics on or with in it, to release any static electricity from you body once you do so and open the monitor check all connectors for looseness or any corrosion don't touch anything else but the connectors. if all is well and the problem still exist bring it to a repair shop or bye a new one go to EBay or try those are your cheapest places, unless money is no object.
