Hello, I've followed the steps to set up my tv-ip100(w)-n trendnet camera, but when I open the setup, the camera can't be found to run the wizard. any ideas? I've tried turning off windows firewall, tried pushing reset button for 15 seconds on the camera, tried unplugging wireless router and camera....just can't get anything to work. Thanks for any help! I need to make sure you have the camera connected to a computer via the Ethernet port. I also need to know what version of windows you are running. Let me know so I can explain how to resolve the issue.

I've had camera connected to computer via ethernet, reset it, tried typing camera IP directly into internet far no luck with any of that.

I'm running XP on the computer I want to use it on.

turned off wireless adapter, no change. IE browser said "address not valid"

I even "reset" the camera without any success.

I need you to plug it back in using the Ethernet connection.

You will need to change the ip address on your lan adapter.

When you plug the Ethernet cable into your computer there should be two little computers that popup on the lower right hand corner of your screen. You need to right click the computers then select (STATUS), (PROPERTIES), (INTERNET PROTOCOL TCP/IP), (SELECT THE BUBBLE THAT SAYS (USE THE FOLLOWING IP ADDRESS). THEN TYPE THE FOLLOWING:

That's it your in if you need help with the setup let me know.

When you have completed the setup of the camera you will need to go back into the network adapter setting and select the (OBTAIN ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY BUBBLE) in order to get back on your local network.

This is similar to what I had been trying, but with a different IP address than was recommended by the manufacturer. I was able to go into properties and change the IP, then I went to Internet Explorer and entered into the address bar, but just like before, it didn't find the address, it just pulled up search results after a while.

Do I need to change the IP of my wireless network or is there a conflicting address somewhere else on the network? I'm sure I'm missing a step, but I think I've followed all directions perfectly and can't get anywhere.

Thanks for your advice so far!

You really need to turn off the wireless network adapter on your computer while trying to get into the camera. Try that and let me know if you have better results.

Set the network adapter back to default and plug the camera back in.

Right click the two computers and select status.

    Click (support)

    Click (details)

What if anything do you see next to the default gateway

Trendnet TV-IP501w camera will display images/video on IE at home, but not offsite. This is 64-bit Vista. Turning off the firewall does not help. Offsite, all I get is ip# not found or a timeout message....

1st you need the ip of the camera in your network at home
then you have to go into your router at home at forward either a specific port range of ports or all ports to that Ip address of camera.
you will only be able to access it remotely after all this is done.

Need an operating manual and a start-up disc for a Pixma iP100.

Go to this page:

Canon iP100 Support

If the Drivers & Downloads tab is not selected, click on it.

Under the Guides and Manuals you can download the Quick Start or Easy Setup guides. When you click on the link it will open (as long as you have Acrobat Reader) and then you can save them to your computer for future use.

On that same page, if you select your operating system from the drop down menu near the top, you will get a list of available software.

You will need the software under Drivers. It ends in exe. Click on the file name. You will then have to accept the EULA. When you do you will get another download window. The best thing to do is to select Save and direct it to your desktop. When the download is complete, close the window.

To install the software:

Make sure the printer has ink and paper. Turn the printer OFF and disconnect the USB cable from the computer.

Run (double-click) the file on your desktop that you downloaded. This will begin the install. When prompted, connect the USB cable to the computer and turn the printer ON. This will continue the software install.

NOTE: Should you get any "Found New Hardware" windows, simply Cancel them out.

That should get you going. Refer to the Easy Setup guide mentioned above for additional info.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Step 4: After connecting the devices together, configure the access point’s wireless settings
Step 5: Open the access point’s web-based setup page
Step 6: When the access point’s web-based setup page opens, change the SSID, Channel, and Wireless Security.
