Background sounds louder than vocals. How to turn down background music?

Not aware of any way to do that. If your TV allows adjustment of different frequencies (equalizer) or if you can route the audio to a sound system you can boost the frequencies that correspond to voice. or try cutting some of the others.

Audio problem streaming media via ROKU and RCA players. Constantly have to adjust volume to hear them talk, but then the music/sound effects blast you out.

It sounds like you're using a set of stereo speakers to play a surround sound output. I would try going in the TV menu and turning off surround sound

The background music is louder than the voices

in the menu there should be some type of set up for this, it will most times show you on your screen a room with all the speakers in it and ask you to hit test then it will shoot a white noise type of sound around to each speaker and ask if you heard it, there are then adjustments you can make for the front, rear, and side sperkers independent of one another.

No audible voices

The problem sounds like a setting miss match , with music it is not so noticeable as it is louder and has higher spectrum of sounds , but with monoliphic voices you pick out the disinction more check your sound utilities program particuarly the graphic equalizer if it has one windows does in sound properties and advanced setings if you have a seprate sound utility ie: hd sound etc check that your effects settings havent been changed ...Regards Vortash
