Grinder runs but the machine indicates no coffee & no water signals!

Try pushing the lever on the right side below the grinder towards the back all the way and try again. If it clears the grinder is good otherwise it needs to be taken apart and cleaned.

Fix Saeco Magic De Luxe Not Grinding problem

If you leave the machine for a while, the residual ground beans in the grinder stick and clog the grinder.
- thus "timing out" with the "No beans" light.

After taking apart the grinder and cleaning it out, it still didn't grind. -
Then we ran some ground beans through it a couple of times, and then put fresh whole beans on top of the preground, and it took.

Worked great after that.

Saeco Magic de luxe not grinding beans

Try setting the grind to the coarsest setting, if you still have the same problem, check the wire connections to the board, it might have been reversed.

We cannot get the coffee strong enough, i have tried adjusting the fineness of the coffee but it still seems to be to coarse.

Try removing the bean container and you will see on the grinder the blue and/or red dots that are supposed to line up. I was having the same problem and had to twist the inside ring clockwise to tighten up the grinder. the dots no longer line up but my coffee is now ground much finer. You probably should also vacuum out the grinder while it's exposed.

I have pulled the coffee grinder apart, but marked the wrong piece. Can someone tell me where the blue and red marks should be initially when the top of the grinder is inserted into the bottom nut?

There are two tiny arrow marks, one on the ring the other on the stationary part. tart by getting the marks facing each other, then rotate ring to lower the grinder top until the red and blue marks are approximately equally where the lever will sit. Insert lever and check that lever can be moved all the way to each end. Install the coffee bean holder and test for grinding result, fine or course and adjust accordingly.

Grinder

set the grinder to its courses setting.

there are 2 screws.

a rubber fitting is under the plastic compartment.

before moving anything. mark where that setting is. Then turn it until either the blue lines or the red lines are next to eachother.

you'll know you did it right because the top burr with come off easily.

Clean it out with a vac carefully.

slap it back on, turn back to the market setting and replace adjuster arm (be careful, it can break easily).

Should be good to go at that point.

I usually recommend it being brought in for service due to the grinder being extrodinarily pissy and you can accidentally knock it out of its shaft.

From 1-7 on the coffee grinder, which is the finest grind.I Hve misplaced my manual

1 would be the finest. I wouldn't recommend going under 2 though.

You risk clogging your grinder and machine under 2. There's also a dosage control when you open the door on the side. + means a bigger dosage or puck.

Hope this helps.

Help....we poured some water into the bean grinder/container

Hi,

You have to take off the bean hopper, turn the ring on grinder anticlockwise to you see the claque. Take out the middle off the grinder and clean everything carefully.

After that you have to put it back again, when you have the middle off the grinder back you turn the ring clockwise to the end, after that you turn it anticlockwise 14 "tick".

Saeco magic de luxe cleaning grinder

I don't know what you mean by disarming the grinder. Unless you are talking about using the bypass. If that is the case there is a button on the panel that has waht looks like a scoop. Push that button and put a scoop in the bypass door and then push the button for what cup size you whant. Regarding the taste of the coffee. It may need a cleaning and service. Try googling "saeco repair" and find an authroized Saeco repair center and have a good service done on it.
