Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
Is it dead with water still in it?if so check the lid switch,lift up the lid,put it on spin,stick a screw driver into the hole where the lid switch strike goes into,see if it spins and drains,if it doesn't do anything push the screw driver in and out,if there's a clicking sound the lid switch is good and now you have to check the pump.if you have a shop vac vac out all the water out of the tub and then go to this site and it will tell you how to get at the pump,when you get the pump off look inside to see if anything is jambed in it.................. I understand that your Electrolux washer is not draining properly. Some possibilities for your washer not draining could be an issue with the drain pump or control panel.
