I just paid for my renewal subscription today i got a confirmation #NP111197686 SERIAL #PKRBK2PP269 IT RAN THRU THE WEB BROSER FOR A LONG TIME THEN STOPPED AND SAID SYMANTEC NOT ANSWERING I WHEN OUT AND CAME BACK IN IT STILL SAYING I NEED TO RENEW I DON.T UNDERSTAND DO I HAVE TO GO BACK IN AND DO IT LATER IT DID SAY TRY LATER BUT I HAVE PAID ALREADY

It's a scam to get you to keep buying. Symantec is a joke anyways, it doesn't help.

The Term of the subscription is the length of time that You have selected, which term will be automatically renewed unless You modify Your account or cancel. If You cancel Your subscription, You are NOT eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee paid for the then-current subscription period. If You have pre-paid for a certain period of services (for example if You paid a lump sum for 6 months of service), You are NOT eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the pre-paid amount UPON cancellation.

This is their terms. You can cancel it, but you will still be charged the remaining term of your contract either way.

How to cancel you membership;

1. Proceed to SpeedDate.com and log in to view your home screen.
2. Click the "More" link in the upper-right corner of the page, and then click "Account Settings."
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click the "Deactivate" link next to "Deactivate My Account."
4. Click the "Deactivate My Account" button.
5. Click a radio button to indicate why you want to delete your SpeedDate account.
6. Click the "Deactivate Account" button.
7. Type a statement to explain what you would improve about the SpeedDate service.
8. Click the "Deactivate My Account" button. This deletes your SpeedDate account and displays a confirmation message.

I auto renewed my subscription and my webroot keeps saying 0 days of protection left. When will it update on my PC?


Assuming you paid the renewal fee online and you verified your payment was recived the software should update rather quickly. Try restarting the computer and see if it shows the proper subscription information. If this does not work, give it a few hours and try again. Contact the company and insure they have the payment reflected. If you received email confirmation of payment, that email usually will contain contact information for technical support or customer service issues

I paid for it and have a product key. Norton says it is invalid.


If you have been charged for a Norton Automatic Renewal and your Norton product shows expired :
When Norton Automatic Renewal service extends the subscription to your Norton product, it is intended to automatically synchronize your subscription to the updated expiration date. Sometimes, due to connectivity issues, your Norton product may not be able to properly synchronize your new subscription. To resolve this issue, we recommend that you synchronize your computer with the Norton servers.
If you have a Norton 2009 product:
To fix the subscription status
1. Start your Norton product.
2. At the top right corner of the window, click Help & Support > Subscription Status.
3. Click Finish.

If your Product Key that you have typed is incorrect. Please follow these instructions to enter the correct Product Key.
If you are reinstalling Norton 2009, log on to your Norton Account to access your Product Key.
1. Log on to your Norton Account by going to the following Web page:

2. Type your email address and password. 3. Click Sign In. 4. Under Registered Products, select your Norton product. 5. Write down the Product Key.

when you have ordered the renewal, you should have received an email with a renewal code. Even if you have not received the email just go to the URL so that you can access your order and get the renewal code. Upon a successful renewal to Norton product. It will automatically send an e-mail confirmation to the information you have provided. In this kind of event, I usually check my card for any deduction paid to Symantec.com.

I'm almost positive that they never come traffic ready. My Magellan came in the mail today, and the box had the registration code/directions on activating the live traffic.

From magellangps.com:

To retrieve the Subscription Code you should use a 20 Digit Coupon Code which is found towards the bottom of the 8 X 11 sheet of paper included in the box of your GPS that is titled "Magellan TrafficKit Service Activation".
The Subscription Code can be retrieved by following the below mentioned Steps:
  1. In a browser window, navigate to www.magellangps.com
  2. Under the "Products" option select "Magellan Traffic Service".
  3. Under "Traffic Subscription Services" click "Redeem a Subscription Coupon" Note: You can Purchase/Renew Subscription if the free subscription has expired by Clicking "Purchase a Traffic Subscription/ Renew a Traffic Subscription"
  4. Select the product model from the list provided
  5. Type your Email Address & Password to login to the Magellan Note: If you dont have a user account, Select "Click here to create an account"
  6. Click the option "Select" corresponding to the correct Product Serial Number
  7. Click the "Yes" tab to confirm the Serial Number
  8. Enter the Coupon Code provided in the box and click "Retrieve Subscription Code"
  9. Write down the Subscription Code to use it in the GPS for activation
