Question about Jenn-Air 27 in. Electric Single Wall Oven with Multi-Mode Convection

When I turn my oven on, it goes to 100 degrees and does not heat up. Continues to click as if heating up, but remains cold. I have unplugged the unit and plugged it back in, in hopes of resetting the control panel. No luck. what could be wrong?

Riello 40 gasG900 burner that will ignite but when oven reaches temperature it turns off completely. After temp drops by 4 degrees it turns back on and reheats back to temp then turns off.Why is this?

that would be normal. if it didnt shut off, it would go above the set temperature. the heat is either off or on. it cant me in the middle. it turns 'off' so that the temperature doesnt go too far above 250. when it senses the temperature falling too low below 250, it heats it up again.

The oven will not turn off even though both dials are in the 'off' position. The light remains on and the fan continues to run. The oven continues to produce heat.

Oven won't heat up 100 degrees continues to show on console

Hi,

Is this a 120VAC. gas range or 240VAC. electric ?

It sounds to me as though it is gas and the bake ignitor is faulty.

If it is 240V AC. You've likely got a control issue or source voltage problem.

Try swapping out the ignitor, that should allow the oven to ignite. The reason it is only showing 100 in the display is the ignitor is the only source of heat. If it is left like this long enough it will also destroy the bake burner assembly as it is likely a hot surface style. so try and fix it asap.

hope that helps,

Good luck

Oven heats, but does not get to correct temperature as fast as it did, lower oven heats OK . When the pre-heat time is complete, oven was still 100 degrees less than designated.

when you first turn it on both elements should come on(your top element may be burned out)if so turn breakers off just take out the screws on the mounting plate pull out and take wires off and replace

After cleaning the top half oven with a self-clean cycle the oven will not pre heat past 100 degrees. The bottom oven will heat. What might be causing the top to malfunction? The serial number is...

usually it is the thermal cut off( TCO) ,a kind of themal fuse which goes out if the temp exceeds certain limit and cuts off the power to the elemnts.it is to protect the cavity from over heating.it needs to replaced or reset depending the model. u will need a tech to fix this.

More of a clarification request:
Is the oven remaining on all the time(oven light stays on)and the temp not going above 100 ,or is it going to 100 then switching off?
