Question about Xerox DOCUMATE 515 SIMPLEX-FLTBF W/ ADF 15PPM Printer

I have a problem with the Xerxox documate 515 error messge" copy of prtection failure. There is no VRS file- import dongle connected." remove all sccanner software and reinstalled, but same problem. HELP!!

it seems that the drivers did no install correctly.
-Go to the control panel -> Programs -> add/ remove programs. -Then uninstall Kofax VirtualReScan and restart the computer. -After the computer comes back on insert the installation disk and reinstall the drivers.

If the problem persists maybe your installation disk is corrupted, try to download the latest version from xerox and try again.

How can I stop my Zerox Documate 515 scanner from trying to update one touch links every 10-seconds?

explore one touch setting or uninstall any other programs related to scan process mean that (use only one touch with scanner driver)

Line on documents run through ADF on Xerox DocuMate 515

check if it is from the glass plate and ADF.
If only ADF check the small glass plate to the left of the big one.
Clean that and it should disappear

I am getting an error that says '' copy of prtection failure. There is no VRS file- import dongle connected.

You have a corrupted VRS setup - did you try to update the driver? The only way I could fix this problem was to uninstall all the scanner software (OneTouch, OmniPage, Driver and PaperPort) using the Control Panel, remove the \windows\Pixtran directory, run CCleaner's registry cleanup (might not be necessary) and reinstall the scanner software from the Xerox installation DVD. Took me the best part of one day to figure this out.

The system has recovered from a serious error.

I think this maybe an Operating System file failure just displaying on your monitor. Recover these files by reinstalling the driver CD.

System failure

Reinstall the media player.Also delete the temperory internet files. That will cure your problem.
