Question about Ryobi P300 One+ Stapler Brad Nailer

1 Answer

My P300 doesn't put the nail in all of the way. There is about an 1/8 to 1/4 inch of an one inch nail still showing. My battery is good and the nails are in the correct slot. Any advice on what to check would be great.

Do you use the 1 1/4 18g brad nails. Try 1" nails. That seems to work for me.

The trigger doesn't engaged. New cell, battery charged, fan works, full of nails, nothing jams.

First thing is to check date on the bottom of fuel cell. Make sure fuel cell is before that date. Now when you depress the safety and the fan comes on listen very closly at the top of the tool. If you hear a snap. Problem is solved. The plug wire is shorting to the head and is not getting into the chamber to fire the tool. Some times if you turn the lights out you can see were it is shorting. Many times it is were the wire goes on to the plug. If this is the case a little dilectric grease will take care of the problem.I remove the plug wire (you will need to remove the four cap screws on top) put the grease around the spark plug and reinstall my wire. reassemble and test. Good luck

Not much information to go on. first thing to check is the date on the fuel cell. On the bottom of the fuel cell you will find a use before this date. fuel goes bad. next is tomake sure the battery is fully charged (light on tool should be green when you put battery in). With fastners in tool depress on wood. Now you should hear the fan start. Pull trigger and it should fire. If t doesn't, make sure there is not a jambed nail. Open quick release on front of tool. Remove jambed nail push driver back inside tool with small screw driver. Try to fire tool again, you may have to lift the tool again off the wood and press back down. when doing this you are putting fuel in the chamber and you might have to do it more than once. Hope this helps. please give more information if it des not. Good luck

Lost my manual for my 7 1/4 inch circular saw with laser light. Can you simply tell me how to tighten the blade? Thanks Jean

Hi Jean,
Unplug the saw.
# 1: First look for a blade break mine is at the front of the saw.
# 2: Some blades have a hole for a nail.Turn the saw blade down so that you can put a nail through so it catches on the body or Gard when you turn the wrench.
# 3: Use a nail in the gullet : curved space in front of the tooth (o<----nail 9k=to loosen just move the nail to the right side of the blade. My saw doesn't call for total tightening so it wont hurt the motor if it hangs up.If your saw blade has any blue spots it's dull and you need a new one.Thank You for choosing

Arrow ET200 nail gun only put nails in 1/8 of inch.

This electric nail gun does not have much power. Try shorter nails and softer wood. You need a pneumatic nail or staple gun for medium or heavy work. I have both a nailer and stapler and neither are very good.
