Question about Fujitsu ScanPartner fi-5015C Pass-Through Scanner

Cannot load drivers for Fujitsu fi-5015C, once loaded, computer restarts and when windows comes back up it states there is new hardware that needs software downloaded, rather than starting the new hardware install process.

1) DO NOT connect printer to computer!

2) Put the Installation Disk for the printer, in the optical drive of your computer. (Comes with the printer)
If you do not have this disk, post back in a Comment.

You will download the software from HP Support.
I need the printer model name, and model number.
Also what Windows operating system you are using.

(It cannot be assumed what Operating System you are using.
May not be the one that came with the computer)

If you have the Installation Disk, load ALL software.

[Driver: Small piece of software that allows the Operating System to communicate with a device

The device is the Printer. The O/S wasn't stated.

The Full Feature software covers all the software the printer needs.
If it is a unit that can Scan, Copy, Print, and Fax, for example;
all of that software will be loaded ]

ONCE the software is loaded, restart your computer if not asked.
After Windows has loaded again, let the computer run for a few minutes.

Now restart the computer.
(WinXP example; Start > Turn Off Computer > Restart)

Plug the USB cable from the printer into the computer.
Turn the printer on.

After a few seconds you should get a pop-up in the taskbar,
"Found new hardware device"
And perhaps another one,
"Found HP XXXXX device "

(X's stands for model name/number of printer)

IF,.......you have connected the printer FIRST, then attempted to install software -> This = NO.

You can get a driver conflict.
Post back in a Comment if this is what you have done.

[When a device (Printer in this case), is connected, Windows 'breaks it's neck' to find suitable, matching drivers.

If THE drivers are not there, Windows will pick from it's THOUSANDS of generic drivers.

Now you you install THE drivers needed, and there is a driver conflict;

Windows: "Which ones do I use? These or THESE?" ]

Post the printer model name, and model number. This can be found on the Back of the printer.

(This is the type of USB cable end, that usually plugs into a printer,

Type B. It is also a Male plug. So it's a USB B Male.

Determine Correct Driver Click Here



1: Uninstall any unwanted programs.... (make sure/Try to Clear your Hard Drive more than 50% as free)
2: Update virus software
3:Restart Computer IN Safe Mode
4: Run Virus Scan
5: Restart in Safe Mode
6: Uninstall Existing Driver Software From Device manager
7: Restart computer in normal mode
8: Start>Run> type %temp% and hit run.
9: Delete all files in this folder....
10:Restart Computer
11: DEFRAG
13: Restart COmp.

14:Install Driver

Ummm, ..err,...Never mind!)

Let's go the long way instead.

On this page go to the right hand column, and under the white - Mobile Support - heading, left-click on - Driver Downloads

On this page you will see three headings at the top.
Select Product
Select Series
Select Model

Under Select Product click on - Notebook

Now under the Select Series heading, scroll the side bar down, and click on - C Series

Finally under the Select Model heading, click on - C2230

Click on Go, to the right of the arrow in the red square.

You will see the - Windows 2000 Compatible Drivers - heading, and
Windows XP Compatible Drivers - heading.

Go to the operating system you are using.
Left-click on Audio

Click on Accept on the next page.

In the small window that comes up on the top right, left-click on -
Save File.

If you do Not have your downloads, set to save to your My Documents folder, this file will go to your Desktop screen.

(My Documents for Windows XP. Documents for Vista.
Windows XP? Click on Start>My Documents)

The name of the file is C2230_AUDIO_REALTEK_V5.10.00.3696_2KXP.EXE

When you see the file name, Double-click on it.
The Installation Wizard will come up.
Follow the easy instructions.

(Basically just click on Next, Next, and Finish.
If you are asked to restart your computer, do so.
If you are not asked to restart, close all windows until you are back to your desktop screen. Restart your computer.
Start>Turn Off Computer>Restart)

The above, is stated that you are using your Fujitsu Lifebook C2230, to download the Audio, (Sound) driver.

If you are using another computer to download this Audio driver, download it to the computer, then right-click on the Audio file name, and burn it to CD disk.

Take the CD disk, and install it in the Fujitsu Lifebook C2230 optical drive, with the laptop on, and Windows loaded.

If your Fujitsu Lifebook C2230 has Windows XP, left-click on Start, then My Computer.
Double-click on the optical drive that the CD is in.
Follow the easy instructions of the Installation Wizard.

try resetting the device and power fleeing by pressing power button in on condition for 30 seconds this fix the problem

Fujitsu fi-4120C2 scanner


There are two generally components for a scanner to work, One the Hardware Driver, which connects to the Comp and Two, a program to scan using the hardware connected. Sometimes, both may be available in the same program. For example, after installing the Device Driver, you can use any scanning program, to scan. Hence please check if you have loaded the Device Driver. You may be just using the scanning software, whcih is not able to detect the device!

Emachine t3112 only work in safe mode


you need to run the new hardware wizard as there are differnet drivers needed for the mb

Fujitsu C6387 slow to start


What may well be happening is that a peice of hardware, eg usb ports, network adapter, graphics driver or similair is struggling to find the driver for it and is hanging the boot up. It could also be a memory failure or a bios failure as the memory used by your system takes over after the first 64KB of built in bios memory. Start your laptop in safe mode (press F8) on start up, as this will load up with only the needed drivers, if it boots up quicker it may well a driver fault, it is then a process of illimination.
