The gas assembly has 3 components and all are wired together. When the gas valve assembly is fired up the sensor, the glowcoil, and the solenoids are all energized at once. But he gas will not come out unless the ignitor is removed from the circuit. It gets removed when it reached 1800f at which time the sensor trips and kills the power to the glowcoil. The energy is now strong enough to open the gas up and allow it out and onto the glowcoil. Over time the solenoids get weak when they get hot. So if the flame sensor and glowcoil both work but the flames don't ignite you will want to replace them solenoids.gas valve no stared - themobilian_2006.jpg

How do i adjust a gas burner on my blue stare gas range

It sounds like you have a natural gas burnwer, but are using propane as your fuel. If this is the case, order a propane conversion kit. Good luck!

You could have a defective fuel valve, a stuck needle and seat or a mis-adjusted float level or loose screws. Check it all staring with the screws.

My brother changed the 3 burners and there s only the one of the left that s working .I ve tried to take them away to put theoldones but Idon t know how to do it..Thanks

The problem may be caused by low gas flow. So, before removing & reinstalling the old burners, do the following:

First be sure you have adequate gas in the tank. If that checks out OK, do the following:

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.

3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).

4. Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and set the burner
control knob on HIGH. Does the flame height look correct for being set on HIGH? If so, light
the remaining burners the same way. Do all the burner flames look correct? If so, you solved
the problem. Remember, to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.

If that didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. It runs about $30.00 at any home center or hardware store that sells grills & accessories. If you replace it, turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.

If you find you need to remove and reinstall the old burners, I have included a link to the Owners Manual for you grill. Staring on page 21, Annual Maintenance, it will tell and show you how to remove the burners. http://help.weber.com/manuals/ducane/2008%20Manuals%20pdf/20529916_030308.pdf

I hope this helped you and Happy Grilling!! Thanks for choosing FixYa.

My 1995 windstar 3.8 litre came to a stop barely ideling then it stalled. I stared the engin again and it has been runnig for the last 24 hours. could it be a fuel pump if so where is it located?

Before you would consider the fuel pump, you should change the filter, and then check the fuel pressure with a gauge, on the fuel rail, near the injectors. You should also check that there is no vacuum or pressure building up in the gas tank, by listening when you open the cap. If there is, then the purge valve is not working right.
There is a long list of possibilities, like EGR valve, timing, etc., with the fuel pump low on the list.

Dryer not heating. problem has happened before but has staring working agin in the past. Not this time.

Possibly the heating element. Sometimes they stop heating and then the element welds itself together again and works for a while. Other wise it could be a thermal fuse. If it is gas it could be the valve solenoids.
