Try to upgrade your drivers for the mainboard
from here:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=P4V88

Remember to select the windows you are running.

Upgrade the 4 in 1 driver first, and the SATA RAID Driver.

Hope this solves your problem.

Boot usb P4V88

Hello download the manual here:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/VIA/P4V88/?cat=Download

http://www.asrock.com/mb/VIA/P4V88/?cat=Manual

You have to enter the bios boot settings, and select to boot from the usb drive, as first boot device .
The file on the usb, must be a iso file so the pc can boot from it.
When you have installed your operating system, you can change the selection again (harddrive as first boot device) to prevent damage to the new install.
The iso file on the drive, can also be burned to a disk.
Here is a great program for the job:
http://cdburnerxp.se/en/download
Its free.
But do select the lowest possible burn settings to prevent damage to the operating system.

Best of luck
If you do this you have to select the cd/dvd drive as first boot device, in the bios settings.

Asrock P4V88 SATA RAID 1.5 Windows 7

No drivers for windows 7, here at the homepage:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/VIA/P4V88/?cat=Download

But try the VIA drivers from here:

http://www.viaarena.com/drivers.aspx

This mainboard will probably only only run the 32 bit system.

Good luck

Dual channel Mode willnot work over 2 gb's of

Hi, please read page 12, section 2.3 in your manual. Dual channel memory must be connected per manual specs.
(Correct colored DIMM slots)
Link to Asrock manual; ftp://174.142.97.10/manual/P4V88.pdf
Main web site provided by Asrock; http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=p4v88

Once the memory is installed into the correct colored DIMM slots your system should see up to just under 4GB if 4GB is installed while using windows XP. (Refer to Asrock's web site).

Hope you find this helpful and working.

Not make instal xp new hard drive "seagate baracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS, and my motherboard dont see hard for instal

It seems you are saying that the board will not see the new hd.
You need the instructions for the hard drive and the mother board to install the SATA drive.
Some motherboards may need to have the bios upgraded, if it can.
Others are too old.

some motherboards and processors are compatiable with certain hd's only. Here is a list:

Pentium: 2GB through 5GB
Pentium 2:5GB through 20GB
Pentium 3: 20GB through 40GB
Pentium 4: 40GB through 500GB
Pentium D: 40GB through 1TB
Celeron: 2GB through 500GB
All AMD's: 300MB to whatever.

so, that's probably your problem. I suggest
