Will this CPU be compatible with this MOBO?

Okay your Processor is not supported by your System Board. I will take some time and look to see what would be a good upgrade, but it may take a few days.

Processor upgrade

Dear Friend..

Yes, You can upgrade your system with a new Intel Pentium® 4 processor 2.8 GHz, 533 FSB , but only with the BIOS update. Make sure you have the bios version P06 or greater. See the link below:

http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d845grg/sb/cs-009954.htm.

If a get a new processor as above, do not forget to update your bios with the the utility available on intel's site.

I am sure, this helps you. For any additional help, you can ask me..

Fried Motherboard

if you are sure the entire thing is fried, and you have to be sure, i would reccommend a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3R motherboard, if your processor is an intel, it does down to pentium d, and ddr2 ram. i bought one of these and i can still upgrade to core 2 quad if i wanted. (does not support AMD processors,or ddr1 ram). will work for a long time, 5 year warranty at some places
