i would go to computer properties
device manager
scroll down to mouse/pointing devices

windows will then hopefully find new hardware when it re starts

When i move the mouse, the screen keeps zooming in. how do i stop it from zooming in?

Hi youngman kri,
Do you have a mouse with a scroll wheel on top? That might be the problem, it might be locked into a midway position. Use a very tiny quantity, about a drop, of a safe body moisturizer, put the tiny drop on the wheel and roll it around a few times to evenly spread the oil. See if it works after that.

My screen suddenly gets real small or big big I go into view-zoom and reset constantly. How can I make it stop doing this

Well with my experience it sounds like you have one finger on the trackpad and one on the mouse button, if so the edge of your index finger on your left hand is hitting the trackpad and your other finger is moving around causing it to register the pinch zoom manuever you can use to zoom easily. Simply keep your clicking finger still and only one finger on the trackpad

I am on an acer laptop and i somehow zoomed out really far on the internet broswer and now its so small i can barely read this! please tell me how to make the internet fit the screen

there is a short using Ctrl Button on the Keyboard and the scroll button on your mouse. Just press Ctrl while moving the wheel on you mouse. While pressing Ctrl, the forward roll of the wheel would Zoom IN the Page and on the other hand, the backward roll of the wheel would further Zoom OUT the Page. this technique is alos applicable on other application like word, excel, ppoint, acrobat reader etc...

I get this problem quite frequently myself; there doesn't seem to be anyway around it. just restart your laptop and it should work fine again.

Cannot find how to zoom in on the acer mini laptop

Put your two fingers in the middle of the mouse pad. And move out to the side, hopefully it should go smaller then when you do it again go bigger!

I want to disable the automatic zoom on the computer mousepad.

ACER ASPIRE (MINES 5735 )

DO THE FOLLOWING AND THERE BE NO MORE FRUSTRATING RANDOM ZOOMS.

step 1: Go to CONTROL PANEL.
step 2: under hardware and sound select MOUSE (mouse properties box)
step 3: select the DEVICE SETTINGS TAB (at top right)
step 4: select SETTINGS.
step 5: select the +box next to POINTER MOTION, then under momentum select PINCH.

step 6: DESELECT ENABLE PINCH.
step 7: press apply and ok.

Acer laptop stopped displaying to projector

Here is the deal. Right-click on desktop. Choose settings. Right-click on screen #2. Click on apply for new settings. The one additional problem you may encounter is the fact that the projector will display an area to the right of your laptop screen. In other words, move your mouse past the right edge on laptop screen. Look at projector image. See your mouse?

I just bought an acer laptop and there is no arrow on the screen to work with the touchpad mouse. Is the copmuter faulty

Is it a guide showing You how to use the mouse (moves on its own) or does it move when You move the touchpad to where You want it to move to which is normal

If it moves on its own try closing utilities down beside clock on bottom right of the screen
