Hello ,budderfly131
Replace batteries in both mouse and keyboard . Press connect button at the rear of each one .
Verify receivers connection to the pc and make sure the receiver is placed in a reachable sector for the mouse .
Best regards ,

If it's an old PC, chaces are, some parts stop working. The power supply could be malfunctioning, or the HDD (hard disk) could be too old. If the HDD stops, the whole pc freezez, and won't come back.

I recommend trying cheap second hand parts. Have a semi-expert install them. if you are familiar with computers, you can do it yourself. Just power off things and plug the same plugs to the same places. Mind jumper setting.

Mouse/cursor works fine on PC but disappears when watching recorded TV using windows media center. model KB3800TPW

Usually when watching something on your computer in full screen the cursor will disappear. If it comes back when you move the mouse then you have nothing to worry about.

I have a Toshiba LapTop Windows 7 My granddaughter pushed keys and now i can't get the cursor to move. I have tried shutting down and it is still frozen in the middle .

Are you using the trackpad to manipulate the cursor, or are you using an external mouse?

If you're using the trackpad, it may be as simple as using the Fn keys and the corresponding F keys at the top of the keyboard to enable the trackpad feature again. If that doesn't work, try plugging in an external mouse via USB port to see if that works.
If you're using an external mouse, then try to see if the cursor moves while using the trackpad.

Hopefully one of these options will give you control back over your cursor again.

Frozen keyboard & mouse on Acer Notebook

You may have a motherboard failure problem. I would ask you to check the drivers and update them but will be hard to do if you can't get past load screen. You best bet may to get a copy of system recovery and boot pc with the disk installed. Wipe computer completely clean and reinstall windows.
