Tv avi display flashing despite svideo & avi inputs connected

Are all the inputs not working correctly, or just the AV?

If its just the AV it could be a cable issue, try a new cable. If still a issue try a different input device (DVD player etc)

If still a issue then its most likely a issue wit the TV.

What type of TV is it, depending on the make and model you may be able to get a replacement part

Grey border down sides of picture while on AV1

Assuming it's not your device causing the grey lines, just change your aspect ratio settings. Each input has a different set of settings that you can change, so don't worry about messing up the settings on your HMDI 1 input for example if you change your AV1.

I have recently bought a sony bravia model number KDL-40EX710. The input channel either keeps flicking to another input channel, ie AV1 to HDML or when on AV1 or AV2 the channel confirms itself at the top...

Your connections might be loose and the tv is constantly recognizing the connection over and over, that would explain the pop up. I would imagine the picture would be distorted somehow if that was the case but worth a try. If the problem persists after trying a good new cable then I would call the manufacture.

I am trying to hook my laptop up to my lg tv i got the picture to show up but the sound wont i am using a avg cable for the picture and the other i am not sue what its called but its the one that is from...

I can't be sure what you mean by "avg cable". The connectors you use are right; you have to connect the headphones output from the computer (usually green plug) at the audio input off the same that you use for video. This means that if you use AV1 channel for your video, you have to connect at the AV1 audio connector the audio from laptop. Double check the connections and if the problem is still existing clarify me the connections you use.

NO PICTURE FOR TV

Hello,
First turn on your DVD player and keep your DVD playing. Then set your TV in to AV1 (the yellow, red and the white cable) connecting in the back of the TV. Any question call 323-767-6030 and I will go through it, with you.
Thank you,
Ivan.
