Could be a computer virus or some other malware.
You would like to boot from a live cd with antivirus software to clean it.
A good option would be Doctor Web from:

http://www.freedrweb.com/livecd/?lng=en

They also have good instruction how to clean you infected computer.

However, you have to use other computer to download it and burn a live cd from the ISO image.
If you are not sure yo can do it on your own, bring your PC to a local computer store for service.

All in all, it sounds like a virus infection.

Hope this helps

To Whom it may concern, Someone has hacked into my account and is sending the attached mail to all of my contacts. What can be done about this? Ray Christian This is the content of the mail that is being...

Hello,
This doesn't necessarily mean your account was hacked. A lot of times what happens is you get a virus on your computer which collects information about your email and contacts, then it sends automated emails to your contacts, enticing them to open a link and get infected as well. This is how a lot of viruses spread, and are proven to be more affective as it appears to be coming from someone your contacts know and trust.
The best thing to do is scan your PC with a good virus scanner and also with something like malwarebytes.org (download the free).
Change your email password asap just to be sure.
A virus can send email on your behalf without using your password and without logging into your email.
Also, if at all possible, never check your email on public computers, at libraries etc.. They could be full of viruses and key loggers.
Regards, Chris

Someone has hacked my e-mail and is sending my contacts e-mails like they are coming from me. What can I do?

You have to report the error to the company hosting the email, for eg. Yahoo or Hotmail. You can do this by creating a new email and writing them a mail. Or go through their main webpages and click on the contact us tab.

good luck

Someone is sending emails to all of my contacts and it is not me...how do I make this stop, short of closing my yahoo account... my email address is [email protected] if this cannot be...

Hi,

There are chances that someone has knows your password and is sending mails from your email id. Check your sent folder to find out if someone has sent mail from your email id.

Or

Someone is using spam email ( third party ) and enter your email id in from field and sending the mails.

Something is in my email sending emails to my contacts with me doing it.

Your Yahoo email or Yahoo Messenger account was most probably compromised. The virus is running a script that automatically send out SPAM or abuse emails to all your contacts save in your Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Messenger account. You can do a FULL virus scan on your computer to remove this. Below is a free but effective online scan that you can use:

http://eset.com/onlinescan

You can also uninstall the currently installed Yahoo!Messenger and reinstall a new one.

Hope this helps.

My email keeps sending out messages with a geosite attachment to all the people on my contacts list. I am not sending these emails.

That issue seems to be with virus infected on your system. You can try doing and online virus scan

1) Go to this link and download MalwareByte
http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
(Install it and do an update for the antivirus first by clicking on the 'Update' tab, then do a scan either a quick scan or the other one)

2) Once done, download one more antivirus 'Super antispware'
www.superantispyware.com
(Perform and update for this too and do a scan)

Hope this works

Sending emails using GMail on the iPhone

To fix the responding issue, you need to tell your iphone which account is the default account for sending your emails.

touch settings, then mail, and at the bottom of that page in the sending section it asks which account is your default.

The iphone will always use this accoutn to send emails if you start an email outside of the mail program, like by clicking an email in your contacts list or on a webpage.

Now if your in another POP account in the mail program and you click compose message it should be sent from that account.

Hope this helps :)
