Sounds like you missed the display wire.

if you look close at the sleeving on the wire it should have small writing on it,

find the display wire

connect it to the acc wire

this should make your display work

Why my laptop(dell inspiron 1464) stuck while working? with continuous sound & displays one color for whole display. can't do anything except pressing power off button. Pls help me regarding this.

First check that your memory ( RAM) are firmly seated.Press on the memory sticks to make sure they have good contact.
Also The issue could be related with the operating system, as for instance in some cases the OS causes computer turns on, and turns off again. what I can suggest is that you re install the operating system again, or reboot computer to the factory defaults from the rescue CDs that you made. If the problem still exists , then there must be some hardware issue. In which I recommend you contact Dell support.

N7o display fails with full charge during monsoon

disconnect the adapate +battery HOLD the power button by 30 secons aprox, by eliminated ESD. connect again the adpater and battery. and see what happen.
if the problem persist only connect the adpater, and see if the display is working. if is working try putting the battery , if failed the battery is faulty.

However if the computer doesnot turn on the display with only the adapter the ribbon cable display+gum conducter is failed, repair.

God bless you

N7o display fails with full charge

disconnect the adapter +battery, restart HOLD the power button by 30seconds, in order to eliminate the ESD.
try again connect the adapter+battery and see what happen. if worked is fine.
if doesnot connect only the adpater and try again, and see what happen. if work, connect the battery, if failed with the battery , is faulty.

Howver if the problem persist with the adpater only, the ribbon cable+gum conductor is faulty for display, repair.

God bless you

I own a rca tru flat model 27F520T and the tv signal is via a starchoice statelite reciever. I recently purchased a Toshiba DVD SD7200. I am trying to view dvd's with the hook up to the statelite...

Try this steps
On the backside of your satellite receiver, you will notice a bunch of connections. If you already have your coaxial satellite cable connected to the INPUT on the receiver, leave it connected. Disconnect and remove the cable connecting the receiver to the television.
Grab your A/V composite wires and insert them into the Audio/Video OUTPUTS on the back of the satellite receiver. These are color-coded connections--red to red, white to white and yellow to yellow. The red and white connections are your audio feeds and the yellow is for your video.
Look on the backside of your DVD/VCR dual recorder. You will see similar connections. Connect the other end of the composite wires to the Audio/Video INPUTS on the DVD/VCR dual recorder.
With a second set of A/V composite wires, connect one end to the DVD/VCR dual recorder's A/V OUTPUT and the other end to the television's A/V INPUT. Again, be sure to follow the color code. Also, if your television has more than one available input, be sure to know to which one you made the connections (A/V 1, A/V 2, etc.)

Next, tune your television to the proper input channel. Look on the television's remote control for a button that is labeled "Inputs" or "A/V." Press it until you see the correct A/V channel appear on the screen. If you made your connections in A/V 1, then the TV should display "A/V 1" in the corner
.
Now, just turn your equipment on and settle back to watch your favorite show or DVD

It sounds like they messed up your installation. You can confirm their work by verifying that each wire was attached properly.

2005 Pontiac Sunfire Car Radio Wiring Diagram Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Orange
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Yellow
Car Radio Ground Wire: Black
Car Radio Illumination Wire: Gray
Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: Brown

Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Light Green
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Dark Green
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Blue
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Light Blue

Click on this link for a PDF of the installation instructions of the radio (If you don't have the installation guide that came with the radio).

Illumination is the grey wire from the car to the orange with white stripe from the radio.

I suspect that the yellow wire from the car is not connected properly. When the orange wire (constant power from the car) is attached, but not the yellow wire you can insert and eject cds, but it will not turn on. Constant power is used for maintaining the clock and preset radio stations.

If everything looks correct, I would take your car back to the installer and have them correct the issue.

Witch wire goes were

all your wires are color coated for a reason you want to make sure before trying to figure out anything that you do indeed have your new wiring harness and then the harness that connects to your reciever those two harnesses will match color for color every wire will tie to each other your ground your power your ignition your audio and so forth if you have any question on what color of wires go were look at your manual to your reciever it will tell you. you have red, yellow and black those will be your ground your constant 12+ and you ignition or acc wire. the rest is just for sound to your speakers. you will have a blue wire that says remote on it do not mess with that wire unless you are hooking an amp up you may have a an orange wire coming out of the unit wich you need not be concerned with it is the wire that would be used if you were tying the dimmer switch to you dash to the unit but do not mess with that wire either you should be in the clear but if anything else comes up that your not familar with give me a call i can walk you though it my names josh 832 248 4144

AC display won't dim after stereo installation

If you disconnect the stereo, does the temp. display go back to working properly? Did you connect the stereo Illumination wire correctly? Are all the other stereo wires connected correctly? Double check what the wires in the aftermarket harness are supposed to be and don't just go by color.

Will turn on but wont play cds or radio

Sounds like the constant and accessory wires (red and yellow) are wired the wrong way. Test the wire that is connected to the yellow wire with a test light, and if the light doesn't light up with the car turned off you have the wires mixed up.
