Question about Bissell 9500 ProHeat 2X CleanShot Upright Deep Cleaner, Red Berends Vacuum

Open Question

It will not **** up the water. There is plenty of water in bladder and solution canister. Red door will not stay closed. Unsure if this is the problem.

Took inner bladder out now won't hold water

Inner bladder is needed to hold the fresh water for spray. Make sure the bladder is pulled through the bottom of the tank and that the black cap with a red rubber seal on the bottom of the tank.

If the black cap is missing you'll need to purchase a new one. Here's a quick link.

No cleaning formula or water is coming out of the dispenser. Any suggestions.

Just a thought, did you fill the dispenser or just the bladder inside the dispenser with water? The bladder inside is filled with water through the hole on the left side of tank. The waste water then goes in the tank around the bladder, a 2 in 1 deal.

If you have filled it correctly and are still having problems, please write back.

I hope this helps. If it does, please place a vote or comment for me. Thanks,

Manual says series 7901 and series 8910. Won't

In order to spray anything out of this machine, you need to have water in the bladder and water or solution in the smartmix bottle. If you don't have both, it won't work. Try this first, if it doesn't work you can access the tubing under the housing cover. You'll need a phillips screwdriver and pliers. Lay the machine handle down and take out the water bladder. There are two screws just in back of the bladder compartment; two in the middle of the compartment and two at the front of the floor noozle. You will also have to loosen and take off the round clear cover, red pinwheel and white strainer of the smart flow. (Mine is on the top left of the cover). Take the screws out and gently lift the cover up. This exposes all the tubing, the pump, etc.
I took off each hose separately and used an air canister to make sure the tubes weren't clogged. I just couldn't figure out how to get to the two ends that go into the inside of the wheel.
I hope this helps.

I have the 8920 bissell proheat steam cleaner. i

You must have a suction problem. Try checking the lint filter, which is located in the top clear plastic section (the section that goes on top of the bladder section - it has the dial to switch from floor to tool use). There is a small plastic lint filter (about 1 inch square) with a little door on it (on my model it is red plastic) . Open the door, remove the hair or whatever is clogging it and hopefully your problem will be solved. And the lady you got it from is correct, the dirty water is stored in the area that surrounds the clean water bladder.

Water will not **** up the dirty water

Check the lint filter. This is located in the top clear plastic section (the one with the dial to switch from floor to tool use) that sits on top of the bladder section. There is a red plastic filter, about 1 inch square, with a little door on it. Open the door and you will probably find it is blocked with hair, etc.. Remove the blockage and you should have suction once again.

Check to make sure the "lip" of the nozzle is securely hooked into the groove on bottom of Tank (see page 9). 4. Solution or 2-in-1 water tank is empty. 4. Check fluid levels in heavy duty bladder and formula tank. 5. 2-in-1 water tank has picked up 5. Empty 2-in-1 water tank. Refill maximum dirty water and red float heavy duty bladder with clean door has closed. hot tap water and replace. 6. Red float "door" in the tank may have closed 6. Turn the machine OFF ( O ), as a result of bumping an object or moving allowing red float door to release into machine back and forth too quickly. the open position. Turn unit back ON ( I ) to continue cleaning. Be sure your forward and backward strokes are done at a slower pace.
