Open it up check the power supply for busted/swollen or leaking caps if it has some change them out with new caps with same uf and voltages (although you cna up the voltage a little) - check the voltages coming from the power supply if the tv will stay on long enough to do so - if not order a power supply

thanks,
michael

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have an LG 42LH30-UA LCD. Using the HDMI there is a delay between picture and audio. Doesnt make a difference what HDMI cable I use or what source(PS3, Cable, or Surround). Any ideas?

If you are in Canada, call LG and they will send a service tech to apply a firmware update to your tv and input some codes. Apparently they used to send you a usb flash drive to do the update, but some degree of technical skill is involved so they now send a local tv tech.

Audio sync problem with LG 42LH30 LCD TV, TV is hooked up to HDTV PVR, problem occurs with HD stations

Contact your LG dealer first as the software version of your TV would need to be checked. Most likely the software needs updated which can only be done by a service engineer.
