Try restarting your computer. If this doesn't work try using the reset button on your router and set up your router again by connecting your router to your computer using an ethernet cable.

I have lost my disk and need to program a password, due to nieghbours using my wireless. How do I do this

Hi evan,

Basically you don't need a CD if you want to change the password or put a password on the network all you need to do is to access the Wireless Settings Page of the Router and put or change the Network Key. To access your router you need a working computer connected to the router then open a Browser then type 192.168.0.1. the Username is admin and the password is blank. Go the the Wireless Settings Page and under Wireless Security Mode you can change the Security Mode to either WEP, WPA or WPA2 then input your desired password.

Rate me if this helps so i can help others.

Thanks for using Fixya.

I never set the router as a Secure network and when I tried to do it today...i do not know the login or password. The router is over a year old. It is a d-link wbr 1310 S F312274013867

Try 4 combinations:
* blank ID, and blank password,
* blank ID, and password of 'admin',
* ID of 'admin', and blank password,
* ID of 'admin', and password of 'admin'.

Failing all the above, do a "hardware-reset" on the router, and try the above 4 again -- one of the 4 will work.

Dont have wep for my wbr=1310

if you don't have the wep key but do have the login to get into the router you can go to the wireless page to get the wep key. you go to the wireless setup on the left then select the setup tab on the top and there you will find the wep key. If you do not have the password for the login for the router then the only way to get back into the router is to reset the entire router and start again. this is done by putting a paperclip in the small back hole in the back of the router and press and hold for 10 seconds. this will reset the router to its default factory settings. then you can login with the blank userid and password of admin. you will need to resetup your wireless network.

Cannot login to wbr-2310 router's config page

Disable firewall on your computer. It seems that it's blocking you from getting in the setup page. you may also try using another computer to login just to isolate your problem
