You didn't specify the name of the product so I could only direct you to the ATI Graphics page at http://www.amd.com/us/products/Pages/graphics.aspx. Choose your product there.

Did you run the Windows 7 upgrade advisor before you installed Win 7. You may find that windows 7 doesn't allow the use of your graphics hardware. With the issue of Win 7, Microsoft decided that they would only allow the use of hardware that had been tested by themselves. To enforce this all drivers for Win 7 onwards require "Signed Drivers" to operate properly. You may need to buy a Win 7 ready graphics card to continue with a stable computer.

Dell windows 7 pro 32 bit windows dvd maker says video card

The drivers may now be default Windows instead of original, so you could try forcing by right clicking the setup and using trouble shooting mode. Or just go to Dell support and enter service tag on their web site, then look for updated Win 7 drivers. gl

Adding discrete graphics card to p6stp-fl

!O_O!

1) Unplug the computer from power.

2) Press the Power On button in, and hold it in for a count of 10 seconds. Let go. (HAS to be 10. Count)
Do this same procedure TWO more times.
(IF the Power On LED flashes for a second, keep repeating until it doesn't)

What you are doing is clearing CMOS Error Codes, and resetting BIOS Setup parameters back to the factory default settings.

3) FOLLOWING Anti-Static Precautions remove the graphics card.
Plug the monitor back into the Integrated (OnBoard) graphics, of the motherboard. (VGA connector)

4) Plug the computer back into power. WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer on.

5) When Windows has loaded wait a couple of minutes, then take that graphics card's Installation (CD) Disk, and put it in the optical drive.

If the disk doesn't start loading after 10 seconds, go to My Computer, and double-click on the drive letter, next to the optical drive, the Installation Disk is in.

When asked choose all software. Nvidia Control Panel, and drivers.

Your computer will keep on using the Integrated (OnBoard) drivers, for graphics. It will Not use the drivers, and software you are installing now, until the graphics card is physically installed.

Install all software. If you are asked to restart your computer -> NO
Close all windows, go back to your desktop screen.
Turn the computer off normally.
(Start > Turn Off Computer > Turn Off)

6) Unplug from power, follow Anti-Static Precautions.
Unplug the monitor from the motherboard. Physically install the graphics card.
Plug the monitor into the graphics card. Close the computer case.

7) Plug into power. WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer on.
You may have to go into Nvidia Control Panel, and set the correct parameters for your monitor. (Screen Resolution / Color quality )

Clear CMOS Error Codes, and reset BIOS Setup back to factory settings doesn't work?
You get to go back into BIOS Setup, and set the submenu you changed, (Or submenu's), back to the factory standard setting.
(F6?)

You are trying to use the OnBoard graphics drivers for the -> graphics card. This = NO.
You need THE drivers for the graphics card installed F-I-R-S-T.

(OnBoard. ON the motherBOARD.
Used to be used for Integrated Graphics.
Makes it easier to understand if you use OnBoard Graphics )

Why?

When a device, (In this case a graphics adapter card), is installed, Windows 'breaks it's neck' to find suitable, matching drivers.
If THE drivers are not there, Windows will match up one of it's THOUSANDS of generic drivers.

This = No.

You need THE drivers already installed. Windows looks to see what device is installed, then finds THE drivers needed.

Windows 7 do not accept (my Sapphire 4650 Hd Agp ddr 2 1gb graphic card) drivers when I upload drivers .how I will make upload for my computure?

This is Sapphire's link for downloads:
http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/downloads/download_index_01.aspx?psn=0006
I entered your info and it appears the card #100288L Radeon HD 4650 1GB DDR2 has Windows 7 support. This card requires a 400w or greater power supply and, a 6 pin power hook up. You have to un-install the VGA driver and Catalyst control center before downloading new. You can do so in a "custom" uninstall then, a "custom" install.
http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx
You can also try to update your drivers here.

Sound like you have a great setup, plenty of power. There seems to be problems with compatability with software of certain products after the download of Windows 7. With graphics cards they sometimes recommend uninstalling software before Windows 7 and, reinstalling after. What I recommend is, uninstall your Gigabyte software and reinstall updated software. you can do this here:
http://www.gigabyte.us/support-downloads/download-center.aspx
Option 1
Choose product-click and scroll to "graphics card" and selct
By chipset series-click and scroll down to "GeForce 9800GT and select
Model name--click and select "GV-1198TSL-1GI
Then click search.
You can choose driver , bios, manual, etc. downloads
Click on "drivers" select your operatinf system, "windows 7 64 bit
Your download will come up. Click on your download and install.

Installing NVidia 8500GT XFX 256MB graphics to A8N-VM Motherboard

The chances are that you have an old motherboard which is not compatable with the new graphic card. Or you may be running windows 98 and are downloading the driver for xp or visa versa. The probable solution, will be to sell the new card on ebay and buy the best old card you can off ebay. Or just make do with the card you already had in your computer. If you are determined to have a better graphics card. A motherboard upgrade with better graphic card may be the best answer or buy a better spec pc second hand if you don't have much money. You'll probably waiste a lot of time trying to get the new card to work and it probably never will.
